In an effort to keep things real, I will point out:

 

1) the watermark is for California only.  As an ex-Californian living abroad, I got my absentee ballot emailed to me and I faxed it back.  So California is not exclusively using watermarked ballots.  Second, when the Dems finally got control of Calif a few years ago, they remapped the voting districts such that it's all but impossible for Republicans to every control the state again.  In any event, Trump never expected to get California so the whole discussion about it is really moot.

 

2) I believe that Trump will prevail and enventually take the win.  ACB starts on Monday and now with a full Supreme Court with a Conservative, Constiutionalist majority, I think the facts are clear enough that there is wide-spread voter fraud.  In addtition to the all politicians paying people to get enough votes so that they can win (check out Project Veritas), there are many instances of new fraud in the last few days already reported:  Postmasters ordering their workers to hand stamp ballots received after Nov 3, Arizona giving Republicans sharpie pens to fill out their ballots which makes them unable to counted, many dead people voted, one person who was born in 1850, making him 170 years old as well as others who are older than the oldest living person on records, people voting more than once in different states, districts that were ordered by the Court to let Repbulicans watch the vote counting and they still refused, Trump's team just sent a letter to Bill Barr about Nevada where there were several thousand fraudulent ballots, Biden getting all 128,000 votes that suddenly and mysteriously turned up in the early morning Nov 4th... and this is just the beginning.  No doubt the Deep State is fighting will all they've got, but if it's possible to beat them, Trump is the one who can do it.  He doesn't like to lose and he likes to get even when he's been wronged, and my money is on him.  And let's not forget than many Christians have prophesied that God will use Trump to save the US.    

 

3) The original post in this thread referenced a site that contained the following.  Apparently, DHS did ask the states to ensure that their ballots are auditable.  DHS left it up to the individual states as to how they will do that.  It looks to me to be an "ask" rather than a "requirement", so we'll have to see how this all plays out.

Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen on Wednesday called on election officials in all 50 states to ensure that ballots used during the 2020 presidential election are able to be audited.

 

Nielsen told a group of reporters touring the Department of Homeland Security's National Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Center (NCCIC) in Arlington, Va., that she wants "all state and local election officials to make certain that by the 2020 presidential election, every American votes on a verifiable and auditable ballot."

 

"Our systems must be resilient. We must be able to demonstrate that the votes count and that they are counted correctly," she added.

 

Nielsen listed three ways states could audit their ballots: By using paper ballots, machines that print out an individual's vote so it can be verified that the machine correctly tabulated their choice, or using machines that send a duplication transmission when someone votes. 

 

The DHS chief indicated that she will not direct states on what method to use, but said states should maintain a system of verifiable ballots in order to ensure trust in the election system.

"I don't know if we are interested in mandating how, I am just interesting in making sure each state can explain to their citizens what they have done to verify the vote count," she said.

 

The DHS chief emphasized that the Trump administration is "working with election officials in all 50 states," having "frequent and frank" dialogue with election officials and pushing to identify and help manage risks. 

 

The remarks about verifying ballots comes amid heightened fears of foreign adversaries seeking to interfere in future U.S. elections, including the November midterms.

 

Nielsen maintained that the U.S. is "better positioned" to combat cyber threats than at any previous point, but said "more can and should be done."

Christopher Krebs, who serves as the head of DHS's cyber office known as National Protection and Programs Directorate (NPPD), noted that there is an "ongoing Russian effort to sow discord and divisiveness."

The remarks from the top DHS officials comes just days after several technology companies announced malicious cyber activity by foreign adversaries.

Microsoft announced earlier this week that it had shut down six websites created by a hacking group known as "Fancy Bear," which has been linked to Russia's intelligence agency. The hackers targeted two conservative think tanks that have been critical of the Kremlin, in addition to targeting the U.S. Senate, though Microsoft said the attacks were not specific to a "particular" office or senator.

Fancy Bear is an active, powerful hacking group whose attacks have included the successful hack of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) in 2016.

Special counsel Robert Mueller, who is investigating Russian interference in the 2016 election, indicted a dozen Russian intelligence officials last month for their involvement in the DNC hack.

Thanks Shedagal....I have been really struggling lately with a lack of compassion for those that would seek to destroy our nation. At some point it will be necessary to "brush the dust off our sandals"..... this "love your enemies" is getting to be a real challenge. It has been said that "loving our enemies" is mostly reconizing their "inherent value" as creations of God. I only wish they had the capacity to recognize the "inherent value" of our great nation.

American citizens with differing political points of view from your own are NOT your enemy.....It's simply democracy at work.  I certainly don't view you or any other member on this site that disagrees with me, as the enemy.  This country doesn't belong to Trump or Biden personally.....it belongs to ALL of us, and they, both of them, are part of us.  Life in this country, the greatest on earth, will go on.

Going on 10 years now.....still mulling it over, weighing the pro's and con's....And it's not really my political agenda I'm worried about....Of course, I would need to spend the money to join VIP for the chance to find out for myself, hence my dilemma.

Same old broken record and still nothing to show for it.  For eight years we heard Obama the Muslim born in Kenya was coming for our guns, never happened, in fact the gun industry flourished under Obama because of the frantic hype of people such as yourself.  The border situation is essentially the same as it was, other than Obama didn't separate children from their families like Trump has...Obama simply allowed the illegals to wander the countryside, working for American businessmen, more than likely, until their court date arrived.  Trump was only against abortion so he could shore up the vote of evangelicals, as he doesn't give a damn about anybody but himself, never has, his sister even said as much on audio.  Trump has though admitted on audio to sexual assault.  Iran is more dangerous now than ever, N. Korea is more dangerous now than ever, because Trump gave them legitimacy on the a grand scale for the whole world to see.  Trump products are still being manufactured in China....He did manage to bring farmers a form of socialism with his farmer checks, a product of his own tariff policy.  And we now have zero say in European policy, because of Trump.  He picked Putin over our own security agencies, plotted with a Ukrainian to manufacture dirt on Biden....made fun of military personnel as "losers" and "suckers", Mexicans as rapists, made fun of a person's disability...etc. etc.  So, enjoy your choice and continue to enable his treatment of human beings, by feebly saying "I don't particularly like many of his antics, tweets, and childlike behavior", as that's your choice.  At the end of the day, it looks like very few of the Republican party is coming to his rescue.   Have a great day, hope it gets better.
