Uptick In Qi Card POS Installations Throughout Iraq Spotlights Strong Growth

Record-Breaking Number of POS Qi Card Kiosk Locations Enables More Convenience for Cardholders

Oct 01, 2020, 02:00 ET

BAGHDAD, Oct. 1, 2020/ --Qi Card , the leading electronic payment solution and default national debit/credit card of Iraq, today announced a skyrocketing uptick in demand for additional points of sale (POS) kiosk systems throughout the region. The combination of new POS locations and the stark increase in usage of Qi Card's digital money transferring services are just two indicators of Qi Cards rapid growth in the region.

The increase in available POS kiosks comes at a crucial time, as citizens around the world practice social distancing measures. Today, Iraqi citizens now have nearly twice as many kiosks to visit, enabling not only easier access, but the ability to avoid crowding.

The record-breaking POS installations tie directly to a higher usage of Qi Card, which is by far the leading card and digital payment method for Iraqis as the country embarks on an economic digital transformation, moving away from cash and into a fintech-based model built for improving convenience and safety.

No transfers more than 400,000 dinars in one month or it's

equivalent in US dollars. period not comma.

i just hope that when the dinar rv, the dinar investors can exchange dinar for dollars in the states or internationally. if i say if the dinar investors can exchange in the iraq country only, then this will become a problem because  ONE - TIME TRANSFER should not exceed 400 THOUSAND DINARS or its equivalent in US dollars and it isn't safe to handcarry a suitcase  full of dollars either. oh no i don't want to do it. therefore it is much better if the dinar can rv internationally , not in country rv ( it is a bad choice ).  come rv.

this article comes directly from the cbi. and the cbi belongs to iraqi country and iraqi citizens. therefore i just hope that it ( transfer funds ) is applied to iraqi citizens only, not for dinar investors.

Thanks Yota691.

This seems as good a time as any to ask this question- although there is probably a better location for it:

Does anyone  know whats going on with WARKA?  I haven't received any response from them in quite a while regarding an inquiry pertaining to annual fees -  and access to my account - and I'm checking to see if anyone can shed light on my concern.

Thanks very much-
