Information / Special ...

On Sunday, the Parliamentary Finance Committee described the federal government’s printing of currency without providing financial cover as a dangerous and wrong behavior.

"The government of Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi does not have a vision for economic and financial reform," said Abdul Hadi Al-Saadawi, a member of the committee, in a statement to "Al-Maaloumah", pointing out that "the government made a big mistake by printing currency without providing a financial cover for it."

He added that "printing the currency without providing financial cover is the most dangerous work done by the Central Bank of Iraq at the present time," noting that "this matter will lead to major economic problems."

Last Monday, the Parliamentary Finance Committee announced the opening of an investigation to secure the government’s salaries for September, despite the Parliament’s lack of approval of the loan presented, indicating that its insurance is surrounded by doubts between withdrawing from the central reserve or printing other currencies.

Baghdad / NINA / Member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Muhammad Al-Darraji, called on the Central Bank to prove its credibility and transparency by announcing the invoices and documents presented in exchange for selling the dollar in the window of currency sale, otherwise it will be a partner in forgery.

Al-Darraji said, in a press statement, that "the dire financial situation, the weakness of imports, and the exit of the dollar from the country under the pretext of importing without customs imports in proportion to the volume of his sales contributed directly to the destruction of the country's economy." / End 5

The only difference between us and them is we are bigger. We keep printing

money every month. Soon a loaf of bread will be 5.00 dollars...

Depending on the the brand here in Arizona, it already is.

[ 5 years ago up in the Bakken Oil Field in North Dakota, it was that and more. Of course they saw big money when the BOOM hit and all us Oil workers showed up.]

The whole world is in world of Shyte. Its full of agenda driven Tyrants, Dictators and fervently passionate sycophants to their favorite political " ism" . . . the shots are being called by the insanely powerful, wealthy that own the UN, WB, IMF - it's a global Cabal.

The masses  don't recognize they're being manipulated. Table is tilted and the game is rigged. The masses are asses and doing their Masters bidding. The " Game " is being played out brilliantly

Who knew the movie " Idiocracy " would turn out to be a 21st Century Documentary.

Thanks for the uplifting post Yota691 - and for all your devotion to this site over the years. Hopefully the ride will be over soon- and not a day too soon from my perspective.

Thanks Mary B ,

for all of your posts- which have a tendancy to lift my spirit when it need dt most -

The inertia itowards less corruption and a better life for the Iraqi citizens is definitely strengthening. There's  no turning back - as forensic accountants have been hard at work for several years and audit trails now exist proving the historic extent of theft by th e CBI -and Iraqi government

Everyone is responsible for their actipns - and in my opinion, it's just a metter of short time before the corrupt in Iraq (and beyond). will be held held accountable (anyone see 60 Minutes tonight?)
