The President of the Republic, Dr. Barham Salih affirmed that Iraq is determined to establish a state with full sovereignty, calling on the international community to continue to support the Iraqi people to face the challenges and unite in the face of terrorism and corruption. 
In a congratulatory message sent to the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the international organization, President Saleh said: “Iraq stands today, and it is one of the founding countries, supporting the values and principles that the United Nations holds in order to establish world peace, and engage in dialogues to reduce Tensions, conflict prevention, and the protection of human rights. ”He added,“ Iraq also stresses at the same time the pivotal role the organization plays in uniting the interests of its member states and strengthening efforts together towards achieving common goals serving the peoples of the whole world. ” Saleh referred to the conditions the world is going through, saying: “In these difficult times, as the world faces (Covid-19) with all its health, economic and social repercussions, perhaps it is an occasion that calls for reminding us again of the importance of international solidarity to face the challenges together and the positive role played by United Nations organizations. In the face of this epidemic ».

Baghdad / NINA / Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi affirmed that progress has been achieved in the strategic dialogue with the United States to establish national sovereignty.

In a televised speech on the occasion of the anniversary of the October demonstrations, he said: "We have made progress in dialogue with our neighbors in accordance with non-interference in internal affairs, and we have made long strides within 5 months." / End 3
