Baghdad today - Baghdad
A member of the Economic and Investment Committee, Nada Shaker Jawdat, commented, Sunday (October 18, 2020), on the fact that there is a government tendency to print new currency issuances that exceed 59,000.

In an interview with (Baghdad Today), Jawdat said, "The Economic and Investment Committee does not possess any information about the existence of government intentions to print new currency denominations exceeding the 50,000, and no opinion has been received from the competent executive authorities in this regard."

And she added that "if this matter happens, it will destroy the Iraqi currency, because the Iraqi dinar will collapse in front of hard currencies," noting that "this step will be greatly supported by parliament and the people."

Earlier, the Central Bank of Iraq issued today, Sunday (October 18, 2020) a statement on reducing the exchange rate of the Iraqi dinar against the US dollar, while confirming that this news represents the viewpoint of the one who stated it, not the bank.

The media office of the Central Bank stated in a statement received (Baghdad today), that “The Central Bank of Iraq confirms that the recent statements regarding (lowering the exchange rate of the Iraqi dinar against the dollar) represent the viewpoint of those who stated it, and do not represent the official position of the Central Bank. This was accompanied by a number of rumors launched by speculators, which affected the price (temporarily). "

According to the statement, the bank announced that "the exchange rate is fixed and unchanged, and that its monetary policy is clear and transparent," noting that "its foreign currency reserves are very good, according to all international indicators and in a way that enables it to overcome the current crisis the country is going through."

The statement continued, "This bank hopes that the media will exclusively use the sources of the central bank in this regard."

Anyone in this investment for significant time knows that everyone in Iraq government will run their mouth with their "opinion'.  Nobody knows what the CBI plan is. But if they go with the council of the IMF and WB, who have told them to position monetary policy to "increase" the value of the IQD, then that's good enough for me. IMO of course.

I'm no financial genius, but I did recently stay at a Holiday Inn Express. :D

The information / Baghdad ..
Member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Thamer Theban, denied, on Monday, the existence of the Central Bank’s tendency to print local currency to cover expenses, warning of the dangers of taking such a step without the availability of hard currency.
Theban said in a statement to "the information", that "the government cannot print currency for several reasons," warning that "taking such a step affects the value of the Iraqi dinar in addition to an increase in prices."
He added that "the government itself cannot control the exchange of the dollar," noting that "there is no representative or governmental approach to take such a decision."
He explained that "the salaries of employees and retirees and government expenditures are among the priorities of the government and that the issue of printing currency is just an opinion that does not fit with the Central Bank Law."
The Central Bank issued a statement earlier indicating that its law does not allow that for the possibility of printing an Iraqi currency To avoid financial and economic problems. Ended / 25 h

Anybody been in this investment should know, history was already in the making, Dr. Sinai Shabibi Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq at the time had already printed the $100,000.00 note and the $50,000.00 in the spring of 2011.

The $100,000.00 dinar note was for Large International Inter Banking Exchange Transactions, these notes were put in the MRI book. The signed MOU that happened today with Khazemi and Macron is huge!

The MRI book is a book of all International Currencies for those who don’t know, all International Banks use this book for verification on all currencies.

The invitation from Macron is a invitation for Iraq to enter the International Stage.

Please read this article carful their not going to print a currency that’s already printed.
This is a shout-out to Yota from Joey and Wheelman, we would like your response.
This is HUGE!

@yota691your response is appreciated in advance.

The federation council is not in the law library. It has only been read twice and needs amendments. So technically it's not a law yet. The council of the Union law has been read twice also and that one is needed for the provincial councils also. We don't have the amendments to law 21 of 2008 that the province's need. Abadi tried but didn't get them done. We will need new provincial elections to happen first anyways. The federation council better called the council of the union cannot come into affect as a law once they complete it until these elections take place first. Only then could you elect and seat the 2nd chamber of their government. Also imo there is no 100,000 dinar for large transactions. You can wire money anywhere in the world nowadays so why would you need such a large bill?  But then again I'm only a country girl so what would I know after being in this for 10 years. ;)

2018-01-19 at 16:21 (Baghdad time)

Parliamentary sources revealed parliamentary efforts to legislate a new law that includes the establishment of a new parliamentary union comprising members of the Governing Council, members of the Council, members of the National Assembly and members of the House of Representatives.

The sources told Mawazine News that "the parliament is in the process of enacting a new law that includes the establishment of a new union that includes members of the Governing Council, members of the Council, members of the National Assembly and members of the House of Representatives," indicating that "the law will include members of the House of Representatives under the government of Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki 2006 and 2010, and members of the House of Representatives under the current Prime Minister Haider Abadi in 2014, and whose session ends after a few months.

"The law also includes everyone who will serve as a member of the House of Representatives in the future, according to Article 4 of the new law, which gave the right to each of the members of the legislative authority and the membership of the Governing Council, belonging to the new institution formed by the new law, "He said.

"Paragraph (4) of Article 3 of the law states that this union seeks to defend the rights of members material and moral, which reveals that this law opens a large door to protect any of the accused in cases of corruption and the legal formula stipulated in the Official Gazette, For the protection of the rights of these members and defend them if they are exposed by any institution in Iraq for these rights. "

The sources pointed out that "the new law established the Union and made him a president and deputy and Secretary General and a public body and make it an independent body and set the objectives of the Union and make committees of the Union most important committees that are formed in each of the province of that province as stated in paragraph I of Article (14) .

For his part, said other parliamentary sources, "The law in its current form requires the House of Representatives to pay huge expenses for these offices in all provinces."

The new law was published in the Iraqi Official Gazette, Official Gazette No. 4486 on 8 January 2018 - about a week after it was officially activated - and No. 86 of 2018.

The law, passed by the Iraqi parliament on December 21, 2017, establishes a new union - not a non-governmental organization - that includes members of the Governing Council who took power during the 2004 Bremer civil administration, as well as members of the National Assembly Under the government of "Iyad Allawi" in the same year, as well as members of the National Assembly in the government of Ibrahim Jaafari in 2005.

Above is the articles of TRUTH!

Federation Council needed to be enacted to have a fully seated Government to go International. This Council oversees provinces that are under Articles-140, 141 of the Iraq Constitution. That is why the provincial council law was postponed. When Khazemi went to Europe Sunday with all Independent bodies, does anyone believe a member of The Federation Council wasn’t in attendance? of course the Federation Council is there. Joey read to the community in March of 2012 of this council (The Iraqi Senate). How do you currently have now a FDIC, become a major bank stockholder, to encourage investment, and investors, without a Fully Seated Government. As far as the $100,000.00k note, I was puzzled by the comment, the note does not exist, (because banks use wire transfer). We are not talking about Bitcoin, we are talking about physical currencies. In our community, we need facts, we need truth, so many people would set you on a wrong course because of lack of knowledge and research. This journey is about the Iraqi People, and our Military.
