NATO: Our presence in Iraq is "non-combat" in the coming stage

Baghdad: Morning

 

NATO revealed, on Wednesday, the nature of its presence in Iraq during the next phase, stressing that it will provide technical advice to the Iraqi forces through the military leadership.

"The NATO mission continues to support the Iraqi forces, provide advice, train them and qualify them to fight ISIS," Magis Lovoua, the officer in the NATO Public Affairs Office in Iraq, stated in a televised statement, noting that the presence of "the mission does not include combat forces during the next stage."  

The spokesman for the Joint Operations Command, Major General Tahsin Al-Khafaji, confirmed that "the NATO mission has future plans to support Iraqi forces of all kinds."

I didn't think NATO did combat operations, the only operations I've read they do is rape the women of the countries their in...

Oh, this is brutal ! Unfortunately, and sadly, it's also been true in many cases. Let us pray that that particular pattern does NOT continue !
