Foreign Minister: The region is witnessing "the polarization of axes" and we talked with Iran about the risks of Washington's withdrawal

Foreign Minister: The region is witnessing "the polarization of axes" and we talked with Iran about the risks of Washington's withdrawal

Written by: Yasser Al-Hilaliat: October 07, 2020

On Wednesday, Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein affirmed that Iraq continues to communicate with the United States on several levels.

Hussein said during a televised interview followed by Al-Nour News, “We have contacted Western foreign ministers to urge the United States to return to the decision to withdraw from Iraq, as there is a decision to stop the attacks on Western embassies in Baghdad, and an investigation of these attacks has been opened, and there are understandings. With the American side about the redeployment of US forces, and the decision to withdraw those forces from Iraq is up to the technical committee that will be formed after the US elections. It will decide the timing of the withdrawal.

On the issue of Blashardt reaching an agreement with the Popular Mobilization Forces, Hussein said, "I have no information about the representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations reaching an agreement with the popular crowd."

He added, "We explained to the Iranian side the dangers of withdrawing US forces from Iraq," noting that "the security of the US embassy in Iraq is a very sensitive matter, especially during the American elections period, and that targeting an American convoy on the Baghdad airport road is wrong and sends dangerous messages."

He continued, "We have to determine the extent of our need for foreign forces in Iraq according to the security data," explaining, "The Parliament's decision was adhered to and we started a dialogue on the withdrawal of foreign forces and we reached results, and the only American request to maintain diplomatic representation in Iraq is not to target the US embassy."

He continued, "Washington asked us a question about the ability of the Iraqi government to prevent attacks on diplomatic missions, at a time when no country is threatening to withdraw its embassy if the US embassy in Baghdad closes."

He pointed out that "more than twenty countries have expressed their serious concern over the security of the embassy in Iraq, and there are a number of countries that have informed Iraq of the need to stop attacks on diplomatic missions, as the withdrawal of American diplomats will affect the training and arming of the Iraqi security services."

On the other hand, Hussein said, "Isolating Iraq from the countries of the world was a mistake and its continuation at this time would be disastrous, and the diplomatic vacuum in Iraq may lead to a security vacuum that is exploited by the Islamic State or others."

He added, "The region is witnessing the polarization of axes and Iraq is trying to build good relations with neighboring countries, and good relations must be built with neighboring countries through state institutions," noting that "our relationship with Iran is good and we are trying to restore the good historical relationship with Turkey."

Regarding the holding of early elections, Hussein said, "I hope that early elections will be held on time, but the preparatory procedures are slow. I do not expect elections to be held on time due to the lack of completion of preparations."

It holds empty promises without arrest and without evidence .. The Al-Kazemi government is racing against time to escape international isolation

Al-Kazemi and foreign ambassadors

Experts: The Al-Kazemi government is a disaster, and unfortunately today, no one is responsible for its devastation other than its patronage

in what has been described as a race against time to escape the specter of bitter international isolation in the event that Washington closes the American embassy in Baghdad.
He informed Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein of the steps taken by the government to contain the Katyusha rocket attacks on the diplomatic missions in Baghdad.

102018111239988388655.jpg
A statement issued by the Foreign Ministry stated that Hussein met with Jeanine Plasschaert, representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations and head of the UNAMI mission in Iraq, and the two sides discussed developments in Iraq, especially strengthening security in vital areas, as well as the most important developments in the political situation in the region, and their implications for security and stability . Hussein affirmed that "the government has made great efforts to establish security, including the Green Zone and the airport." He also briefed it on the results of the political meetings that he conducted, stressing the importance of strengthening the relationship between the UN organization and Iraq, and providing support in preparing for early elections.
Blashart presented, according to the statement, the most important recent meetings she had with the various Iraqi parties regarding developments in the political and security situation.
In a separate statement, the Foreign Ministry said that Fouad Hussein held a meeting with the ambassadors of the European Union in Iraq, and the minister reviewed the efforts of the Iraqi government in the field of securing missions and organizing their work in Iraq, expressing aspiration to activate cooperation relations in light of the cooperation and partnership agreement concluded between the two sides.

620202325853168829694.jpg
The statement added, and they also discussed the situation of European non-governmental organizations in Iraq, and the need to overcome obstacles that hinder their work. The measures taken by the European Union in the field of facilitating the work of Iraqi airlines were discussed during the meeting.
For his part, the minister promised to overcome all difficulties and obstacles in various fields. For his part, the European Union ambassador who was present at the meeting stated that a number of steps have been taken to overcome technical obstacles in cooperation with the Central Bank of Iraq regarding raising the name of Iraq.Among the list of high risk countries in the field of terrorist financing and money laundering.
Observers said that Iran is seeking, through its militias in Iraq, to pressure the international community, particularly the United States of America, to close its embassy in Iraq by continuing to target it with "Katyusha" missiles and threatening its logistical convoys with IEDs. And because the Iraqi government has not yet been able to prevent and stop these threats, the United States of America found itself facing the option of closing the embassy and leaving Iraq.
It is a disaster for Iraq. This pressure exerted on foreign missions in Baghdad is led by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, according to a leader in the popular terrorist mobilization, rejecting "the behavior of military action against diplomatic missions." He told Akhbar Al-Aan that the directives to escalate the attacks come from the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, and the parties that carry out these attacks are (Kataib Hezbollah - Asaib Ahl al-Haq Movement - Harakat al-Nujaba).

He added, Iran asked these factions to carry out the operations and condemn them even Do not get involved in any clash with the American forces, which may decide at any moment to target them and their leaders. The internationally besieged Iran has found itself facing a last option to recover its health, as it sees Iraq as a spoil it can obtain, but Iraq's international relations and a large presence of the international community in Baghdad are factors that impede the singling out Iran, Iraq.
In order for Tehran to monopolize Baghdad, there is no way for it but to escalate against the international community in Iraq, so its attacks have escalated against diplomatic missions there. Standing behind the murder of the late Qassem Soleimani, the American exodus from Iraq.
Isolating Iraq internationally would be a disaster by all standards, and this step may lead to the bombing of the country and its plunge into a civil war.

The battle with him may continue for generations. "

McKinsey added, "The presence in the Strait of Hormuz is done in cooperation with the Gulf countries and reduces the levels of conflict," noting that "Iran threatens the security and stability of the region, and we are working to strengthen missile defenses in the region in order to prevent any terrorist attacks."

Iranian parliamentarian: Washington's threat to close its embassy in Baghdad is a political trick

A member of the Iranian Internal Affairs Committee and Iranian Parliamentary Councils, Ahmad Ali Reza Beggi, described Washington's "threat" to close its embassy in Baghdad as a "political trick."

The MP for the people of Tabriz said, "The withdrawal of the American terrorist forces from Iraq is the will of the people and a law passed by the Iraqi parliament."

He added, "On the other hand, it was noted that Trump, in view of this popular demand, demanded that the cost of the presence of US forces be paid in Iraq."

And the Iranian deputy continued: "Therefore, it can be seen that this recently raised topic indicates that Washington has no desire to leave Iraq and is only pretending to threaten," noting that "the Americans are trying to say, by raising such issues, that if they leave Iraq, he will suffer a disaster." ".

He considered that "Washington's threat to close its embassy in Baghdad is a political trick," pointing out that "this will not happen according to Al-Kazemi's agreements with Trump."

Any defect affecting the three elements (the people - the region - the system), it severely affects the sovereignty as the way out for the cohesion and unity of the other elements. National sovereignty is one of the most important and central political issues in political and legal studies, and its topic still has a prominent importance despite the great and fundamental developments that affected this concept. However, these pillars and pillars have lost much of their authority and prestige in light of the great and tremendous developments that the world has known, especially after the war. Cold, specifically after the emergence of the phenomenon of terrorism in the world.

Sovereignty, more briefly, is the people's ownership of all their will in internal decisions and external relations, and future agreements within or outside the framework of its geographical territory, according to the data of its political system, so that sovereignty is the most prominent concept of the administrative decision of the people on its land, sky and water, present or future.

Cold, specifically after the emergence of the phenomenon of terrorism in the world.Iraq is one of the countries that suffered from a deficiency in this concept, as a result of what the country was subjected to from the American hegemony over its capabilities, which made it live to dominate the strength of its decision from the White House, which is still trying to reach self-sufficiency in its political decision, but with all the attempts that were made. Or by the politicians in Iraq and efforts to restore Iraqi sovereignty, but it always collides with another concept, which is the security threat that Western powers use as a weapon against Iraq when claiming any sovereignty over its land and its capabilities, so the political forces must take a serious stand with this sensitive and dangerous file. And sitting with the opposing team (the Americans) and determining the conditions and duration of its presence on the Iraqi soil, in a way that achieves independence in the political decision of the country, in addition to finding the appropriate ground in foreign relations with regional and international countries and in a way that achieves the sovereign decision of the Iraqi government wherever it is.
