The Minister of Finance, Ali Abdul Amir Allawi, directed the Accounting Department and the National Pension Agency today, Tuesday, to disburse the retirement pension for the month of October 2020 at the beginning of the aforementioned month for civilian and military retirees, and through official exchange channels.

In a statement issued by the Media Office, the Minister said, “In implementation of the directives of Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi, His Excellency the Minister of Finance, Ali Abdul Amir Allawi, directed the Accounting Department and the National Pension Authority to disburse the retirement pension for the month of October 2020 at the beginning of the aforementioned month for retired civilians. And the military, and through the official exchange channels, (banks and electronic payment channels).

This could be it? Oct 1st could be their NEW fiscal year! ( Oct 1st is the start of USA fiscal and Iraq may want it also)
