Parliamentary Finance: We need 3 weeks to approve the 202 budget

A member of the Finance Committee, Ahmed Hama Rashid, said that the 2020 budget needs three weeks to vote on it.

Hama Rashid added, "The budget needs a few days to transfer it to the Finance Committee, then read it for a first and second reading, and then it needs to be voted ... It needs 3 weeks in full for the purpose of passing it." And, "the competent authorities in Parliament have not yet seen the numbers in that budget."

And the Media Department of the House of Representatives announced, on Monday, the arrival of the Federal Budget Law for 2020 to Parliament, and the total expenditures are estimated at (148) trillion dinars, with an estimated deficit of up to (81) trillion dinars, while the revenues amounted to (67) trillion dinars.
