Baghdad The head of the State of Law coalition, Nouri al-Maliki, warned all political parties against the consequences of riding the wave of demonstrations in order to employ them in the elections, while indicating that America did not respect Iraqi interests.
"All political forces should not think of riding the wave of demonstrations in order to employ them in the elections," Al-Maliki said in a televised interview with "Where News".
Al-Maliki added, "I advise everyone not to invest in elections to impose a specific regime and remove a specific regime, which is a matter of concern."
The former prime minister pointed out that "any country that wants friendliness and closeness to us must respect our sovereignty and our interests, but the American side does not respect Iraqi interests."
