Mary B
Pentagon: We Are Preparing To Go To Nuclear War Against Russia And China On September 20, 2020 The Independent / A senior American general revealed the Pentagon’s plans to avoid “losing” a nuclear war with Russia and China. General Timothy Ray, head of the US Air Force’s Global Strike Command, about the unit that controls the ground and air components of the US nuclear triad, spoke of “America's strategic enemies” in the Pentagon’s plans for a nuclear war. In a recent interview with the Air Force Times, Ray made it clear that unlike the adversaries the US has fought over the past two decades or so, Russia and China, if they became enemies, would threaten the physical annihilation of the United States in the event of conflict. The general stressed that this means that the United States needs to modernize the three components of its nuclear triad, including bombers and ICBMs based on nuclear silos and submarines, in order to respond to Chief of Staff General Charles Brown's recent demand that the air force “accelerate, change, or lose “. The United States is already in the middle of a $ 1.5 trillion program aimed at modernizing its nuclear arsenal, which began under former President Barack Obama and has continued and strengthened under Trump, who found more money to create new tactical nuclear weapons launched from the sea. It lowered the threshold for use in the 2018 nuclear review. By comparison, according to Pentagon estimates, Russia has spent the equivalent of $ 28 billion, or about 2 percent of the United States, to modernize its nuclear arsenal in recent years, as this program nears completion with the addition of new hypersonic missile systems capable of evading missile defenses. There are no reliable figures on China's long-term spending on nuclear weapons, although the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons estimates that Beijing allocated about $ 10.4 billion to its strategic arsenal in 2019, about 30% of the $ 35.4 billion the United States spent in the same year. . Despite the imbalanced spending, Ray said that Washington's potential adversaries are modernizing "in a way the United States is not," and that these "counterpart states" have already developed their nuclear capabilities and delivery systems. https://www.mustaqila.com/البنتاجون-نستعد-لخوض-حرب-نووية-ضد-روسي/
MyLadiesDaddy
I not only can't get through this article this article but I absolutely cannot fathom the ignorance of any General making such statements. Thank God Trump is the only one capable of launching a nuclear weapon. And before anyone claims this garbage is true just remember how many times Trump is asked about his military options and how he ALWAYS says that he won't talk about it.
