One of the wanted men belongs to the Badr Organization, according to activists in Dhi Qar
Ultra Iraq - Editorial Team

The judiciary issued an arrest warrant for two suspects in the kidnapping of the activist in Dhi Qar Sajjad al-Iraqi, one of whom is linked to the Badr Organization run by Hadi al-Amiri, head of the Al-Fateh Alliance.

The first note, issued by the Nassiriya Investigation Court of the Presidency of the Dhi Qar Federal Court of Appeal, bore the name “Idris Kridi Hamdan Al-Hasari,” a member of the Popular Mobilization Forces for the Badr Organization, according to activists in Dhi Qar.

The second warrant was issued against "Ahmed Mohamed Abboud Al-Ibrahimi," while the two notes indicated that the defendants live in the "Sayed Dakhil" area, which was raided by a counter-terrorism force earlier without finding a trace of the kidnapped activist.

It took the security forces 72 hours, since the information was leaked about the place of detention of the kidnapped activist in the same area, before they were able to storm it, which allowed the kidnappers to transfer the kidnapped to another area and flee to an unknown location, according to activists who spoke about the possibility of liquidating the activist.

Security sources told "Ultra Iraq", that "the executing agency of the kidnapping has chosen a tribal area to hide in order to impede the security services and implicate them in a clash with the defendants' clans."

The sub-district witnessed, at dawn on Wednesday, September 23, an armed deployment of people from the Al-Asakrah clan, after a threat by its sheikhs to escalate against the backdrop of a raid on the home of the tribe's chief by the anti-terrorist forces as part of the search for the kidnapped activist.

I am sure Mahdi's Communication Officer has enough dirt on Madhi to sink him. I reckon this is part of the judicial process to nail Madhi for the deaths and injuries of Iraqi protesters while Madhi was in charge. ... That and the Minister of Communication was on the take, or another Iranian puppet, or both?

It would be amazing to hear if Madhi gave the orders to fire on the protesters. Either way, he still has accountable for letting it happen and doing nothing about it--all in violation of the Iraqi Constitution.

Jailing Mahdi could continue to turn the popular tide against the militias and continue to implicate Iran. Evidence of any connections between Madhi and Iran will be fair play and likely conclusive. These types of moves will likely continue to strengthen the legitimacy of the State over the sectarian clans.  The momentum is almost palpable, but no whales have been harpooned yet.

Sushi anyone?
