Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi on Monday made a series of major changes to a number of government and official bodies.
Al-Kadhimi appointed Mustafa Ghaleb Al-Kutbi as governor of the Central Bank, Suha Daoud Elias al-Najjar as chairman of the National Investment Authority, Manhal Aziz Rauf al-Habibi, secretary of Baghdad, Salem Jawad Abdul Hadi al-Jalibi, director of the Iraqi Trade Bank TBI, and Khalid al-Obaidi, undersecretary of operations for the Iraqi National Intelligence Service.
Al-Kadhimi also appointed Falih Younis Hassan as undersecretary of the National Security Service, Hassan Halabous Hamza as chairman of the Securities Commission, Sheikh Sami al-Massoudi as chairman of the Hajj and Umrah Authority and Alaa Jawad Hamid as head of the Integrity Commission. Shafq News/ On Monday, prime minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi made major changes in a number of government positions, an official source revealed on Monday.

The source told Shafq News that Al-Kadhimi decided to appoint "Mustafa Ghaleb Scary Al-Book", governor of the Central Bank of Iraq, and appoint "Suha Daoud Elias Al-Najjar" as chairman of the National Investment Authority, and "Engineer Manhal Aziz Rauf al-Habibi", secretary of the capital Baghdad.

Al-Kadhimi also decided to appoint Salem Jawad Abdul Hadi al-Jalibi as director of the Iraqi Commercial Bank (TBI)and Khalid al-Obaidi as undersecretary for operations for the Iraqi National Intelligence Service, the source added, referring to the appointment of Faleh Younis Hassan as undersecretary of the National Security Agency.

Among the decisions taken by Al-Kadhimi in this regard, the source pointed to the appointment of "Hassan Halabus Hamza" as chairman of the Securities Commission, "Sami Al-Massoudi" as chairman of the Hajj and Umrah Authority, and "Alaa Jawad Hamid" as chairman of the Integrity Commission.
