From Iran: Al-Maliki calls for support for Palestine ... and Qalibaf praises the decision of the Iraqi parliament

Baghdad - People

The head of the State of Law coalition, Nouri al-Maliki, called on Monday to support the Palestinian people and confront the trend of normalization with Israel, while the head of the Iranian Islamic Consultative Assembly praised the Iraqi parliament’s vote on the decision to withdraw US forces from Iraq.

Al-Maliki's office said in a statement, which "people" received a copy of (September 14, 2020), that "the head of the State of Law coalition met this evening the head of the Iranian Islamic Shura Council, Mr. Muhammad Baqir Qalibaf," explaining that "during the meeting, developments in the political and security situation were discussed." In the region, the Zionist entity’s policies of normalization with the Gulf states were also discussed.

Al-Maliki stressed, according to the statement, "the importance of supporting the Palestinian people and confronting the trend of normalization with the usurping entity, calling on the Islamic community to unify its ranks to confront the enemies' plans aimed at sowing discord among the one nation."

The statement indicated that "the head of the Iranian Islamic Consultative Assembly stressed the importance of coordinating positions between the parliaments of the countries of the region and cooperating in fateful issues."

Shamkhani reminds al-Maliki of the "bill" of Soleimani and the engineer’s blood
[Continue-Where] The
Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, Ali Shamkhani, on Monday, during his meeting with the head of the State of Law coalition, Nuri al-Maliki, who is currently visiting Iran, warned of the attempts of those he called "enemies" of Iraq to exploit the upcoming elections.
Shamkhani also reminded al-Maliki of the “bill” of the blood of Qassem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, which is the “uprooting of America and Israel from the region.”

Shamkhani said, according to the Iranian news agency "IRNA", "America is trying to sow discord and stir up differences in the region," noting that "the priority of regional countries in order to confront this scheme lies in cohesion and strengthening solidarity between them."

He added, "The enemies of Iraq who do not want progress and prosperity for it, are trying to use the upcoming elections to inflame differences and conflicts and thus create chaos in this country."

Shamkhani added, "America has devoted its efforts to undermining the capabilities of regional countries to protect the security of the Zionist entity and to extend the hegemony of the fake entity over the Arab and Islamic countries."

"I am sure that the blood of Qassem Soleimani, Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, and all the righteous martyrs of the resistance, and their sincere sacrifices, will uproot the roots of America and the Zionist entity from the region," he said.

"The Zionist entity is seeking, through the so-called peace, behind the realization of its old expansion dream to control the Nile region to the Euphrates, but the Islamic world will not allow the realization of this dangerous and treacherous project at all," he added.

In addition, the Head of the State of Law coalition praised the Islamic Republic's "distinct" stances in combating terrorism and promoting regional stability and security. He called for "concerted efforts between Iran and Iraq on important issues in the region and the world."

Al-Maliki stressed the need to enhance harmony in the Islamic world and limit the policies that harm the identity of Muslim countries, saying, "Just as we were able with unity and resistance to defeat terrorism outside Iraq and the region, Islamic countries can, through cooperation and solidarity, thwart all threats facing Al-Quds Al-Sharif and the Palestinian cause." .

I’m pretty sure Maliki is over there busy stirring up a great case of treason against himself.  Covid is the least of his worries..😄

Baghdad / Al-Akhbariya

Strategic affairs researcher Ahmed Al-Sharifi believes that the goal of the President of the State of Law Coalition, Nouri al-Maliki, is to visit Iran and to persuade it to put pressure on the supreme authority, Ali al-Sistani, to stop the support he gave to the government of Mustafa al-Kazemi.

Al-Sharifi said in a press statement, that "Maliki's concerns began to crystallize when Al-Kazimi embarked on" attempts to dismantle the deep state that he founded, which could cause corruption cases that may affect him and other personalities close to him. "

Al-Sharifi says that the directives of the Sistani authority "released the hand of the Anti-Corruption Committee and represented a clear mandate to run a campaign against those involved in corruption, murder and terrorism cases," noting that the meeting of the Supreme Authority with the United Nations representative in Iraq, Jeanine Hennes - Plasschaert was "a mandate for the international will to make changes in If the Iraqi actor fails to take bold steps. "

Al-Sharifi explains, "What prompted Al-Sistani to intervene was his lack of conviction in Al-Kazemi's performance in managing these files," indicating that Al-Kazemi's justifications for adopting a "soft method" in confronting the parties involved in corruption and murder cases are "unconvincing of reference."

He concludes that "the short time limit and the state of support that Al-Kazemi enjoys is supposed to be an incentive for the government to launch a larger campaign and not rely on long-term plans."
