The head of the State of Law Alliance in Iraq and former Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki arrived, Sunday evening, in the Iranian capital, Tehran.

"Mehr" news agency, citing informed sources, reported that the head of the State of Law Alliance, former Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, arrived Sunday evening in the capital, Tehran.

The source said that during his visit Al-Maliki is scheduled to meet with Iranian officials.

The head of the State of Law coalition, Nouri al-Maliki, arrived in the Iranian capital, Tehran, on a visit that would last for several days.


A statement by Al-Maliki's office, a copy of which was received by Al-Akhbariya, said, "The head of the State of Law Coalition, Nouri Al-Maliki, arrived this evening in the Iranian capital, Tehran, on a private visit that lasts several days."

He added, "It is hoped that his Excellency will meet with a number of Iranian officials, and he will also conduct routine medical examinations during the visit."

Hhmmm... he might not be coming back. Son has been brought up on corruption and you know that Apple does not fall far the tree. Maybe he is trying to save his own neck, knowing that it is gonna get stretched when the canaries start to sing! Either way, he is a dead man walking.

I personally think this is AWESOME news for the RV. I would bet good money he won't be back. Like rats running from the ship he knows his Days in Iraq are numbered.

C'mon Kaz , do him like he did shabibi , slap an arrest warrant on him while he's out of Iraq then gather up some peshmerga boys and arrest him when his private jet hits the tarmac , that oughta slow Irans plans that maliki is bringing back to install :twothumbs:

Shafaq News / The media office of the head of the State of Law coalition, Nouri al-Maliki revealed, on Thursday, the details of the latter's "special" visit to Iran.

The office said in a statement received by Shafaq News, "The head of the State of Law coalition, Nuri al-Maliki, arrived this evening in the Iranian capital, Tehran, on a special visit that would take several days."

He added, "It is hoped that al-Maliki will meet a number of Iranian officials, and he will also conduct routine medical examinations during the visit." 

An informed political source told Shafaq News earlier today, Sunday, that "the Secretary-General of the Islamic Dawa Party and the head of the State of Law coalition, Nuri al-Maliki, arrived in Iran on an unannounced visit in advance, and the reasons for which are unknown.
