Well anyone would have to admit he made some bad judgments and I'm sure his staff is wondering why he would ever do an interview with a journalist who brought down Nixon... There is no doubt he should have came out with a national plan and took this on with honesty and leadership.. By not wanting to cause a panic he really made things worse. He denied science, misled the public and then admitted it on tape... The left will attack, his followers will give him yet another pass, but what will moderates and independents think? Those are the people who will decide the election.

The only people that are responsible for the panic are the MSM and so called experts who kept coming up with solutions that changed everyday.

Fear mongering in an election year designed to influence said election.

Trump is not GOD. He could not have prevented any deaths. The Chinese shipped people over that were sick and the virus spread like it was meant to.

The only panic I saw were the dingbats that hoarded TP for a desease that had no effect on the poop chute.

Thank the Governors that shipped people to nursing facilities to kill off the old people. That was smart.  And people blame Trump for not preventing deaths.

Dr Fauci was there so go read his statement.

Bob Woodward is a Dem hack.  His book is designed to embarrass the President.  Why else would he wait until 2 months before an election to bring his book out.  If Bob was truly interested in saving lives he should have brought out this Bombshell earth shattering news 7 months ago.  Maybe the Left should BLAME Bob for sitting on such huge news.

The Dems like to say follow the science.  Ok, if you believe that then follow the Scientist who was there and read what he has to say about how President Trump handled the CV.  He was the one telling the President how to handle this pandemic.

He’ll go right back to the playbook,  deflect, accuse, attack.

Interesting how they want to make a big deal about what Woodward wrote in his book but they don’t want to talk about Dr Fauci’s statement or China.  Mmmm, maybe just maybe the Dems are covering up for China since they are on China’s payroll.

Trump's own words on audio tape actually...the book is merely the product those confessions, which cost thousands of lives.  He's proven himself woefully unprepared for the office, just as decorated Gen Mattis said.

You'll probably think if the Durham report comes out right before the election and is critical of Dems it would be a simple coincidence and not politically motivated too.  For somebody always preaching about equal justice for both sides....hmmm

“The Durham Report” May never come out.  All you will see is indictments like the one 3 weeks ago.  Those indictments will be the result of people who got caught up in a terrible Dem scheme to weaponize the Intelligence Departments of our Country against an elected President.  The only ones who are Political are the people who broke the law to achieve their Agenda.  Every American should want to know the truth about the crimes the Dems committed during that time.

I guess you are just just going to sweep under the rug what Dr Fauci stated.  It doesn’t fit your narrative.

Ignoring Donald's audio recorded words in favor of Dr. Fauci's comments is a real first for those of you on the Right....must feel kind of icky, eh? B)  I just read Tucker Carlson is throwing Lindsey Graham under the bus for encouraging Trump to speak on the record with Woodward....Tuck has no faith in Donald it seems.

I just got  through reading numerous tweets on Bob Woodward’s book.  I’ve never done this before.  Now I understand why Dems are so hysterical. Group think, group delusion, and so absolutely full of anger and hate.  If I were a Dem I would not want to be a part of such a con job by the Left.

The Hits keep coming as Gov Cuomo runs the Elites out of town with Antifa, CV, BLM and high taxes.  I guess he can always tax Antifa and BLM because that’s all that will be left of NYC after this latest beauty.

Gov. Cuomo Mulls Raising Taxes in New York Even Higher

Gov. Cuomo Mulls Raising Taxes in New York Even Higher

Residents are fleeing the Empire State and the Big Apple in droves – and taxes could be about to get even higher for those who remain.

From 2010 to 2017, New York lost 1,022,071 residents due to outward migration, and is consistently the #1 state when it comes to the number of people leaving. Even NYC’s population, which bucked that trend for the first half of the decade has begun falling. From 2017-2018 it fell 0.47%, which may appear minor, but was the largest drop in any metro area during that period. While the population was projected to grow by 7,000, it actually declined by 38,000.

The exodus accelerated from 2018-2019, with the city losing over 53,000 people, and nearly half a million have left during the pandemic and don’t seem to be coming back.

And now it’s looking like they’ll have yet another reason not to.

According to Fox Business:

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo indicated this week that tax hikes on New York City’s wealthiest residents were possible, if better relief options fail to pan out.

“We have a deficit. We don’t just have an economic deficit – we have a combination of factors that are hurting New York City,” Cuomo said during a press briefing on Tuesday. “Before you talk about tax increases in New York City or New York State, let’s first focus on the better options.”

Whenever a Democrat pitches new taxes by claiming they’ll only apply to “the wealthy” you have to take the claim with a grain (or pound) of salt.

The three-term Democratic governor has been resistant to raise taxes on the wealthy, many of whom he acknowledged have left Manhattan during the pandemic. A tax hike could mean some of these individuals will not return.

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio has less sympathy for Manhattan’s wealthy residents, saying he doesn’t base policies on “the wealthy few.” He has voiced support for increasing rates on the rich.

Taxes are already high in the state. New York has:

  • The 7th highest gas tax at 45.9 cents per gallon.
  • The 22nd highest liquor tax at $6.44 per gallon of spirits.
  • The 10th highest state sales tax at 8.52%, and the fourth highest average local sales tax rate at 4.52%.
  • The 4th highest property taxes at $2,782 per capita.

Income tax rates range from 4% on income below $8,501 to 8.82% on income above $1,077,550 (as of 2020), and total income taxes paid per-person are upover 50% since 2010 alone. And that’s just the state – NYC ranks first when it comes to local tax burdens in the U.S.

Here is another Hit for Ole Joe and his Leftist Communist Democratic Friends

.

Why President Trump’s Hispanic support Is Growing

While many of Biden's Hispanic woes can be attributed to his unpopular policies and the direction of the Democratic Party, there is also much that Trump’s campaign is doing right.

Joe Biden and the Democratic Party have a growing Hispanic vote problem, but don’t take my word for it.

The tagline of Biden’s latest Spanish-language ad blitz is #RompeConTrump (Break-up with Trump). The new spots feature break-up songs by singers Alejandro Fernandez and Bad Bunny encouraging Hispanic voters to abandon President Donald Trump. “I used to like you but not anymore,” says the Florida ad — not exactly what you’d expect to hear from a confident campaign. This aligns with new Florida polling, which shows the former vice president down among Latino voters.

Polls: Biden’s Hispanic support Is Lagging

Public polling can be flawed, but I suspect my colleagues on the other side of the aisle see in the data the same thing Republicans do: Trump is outperforming his 2016 share of the Hispanic vote while the Latino unemployment rate is dropping.

In 2016, then-candidate Trump won 28 percent of the Hispanic vote, according to exit polls. Now, recent surveys by Pew and Emerson College show the president nationally at 35 percent and 37 percent, respectively, among Hispanics. Either one would be the highest Hispanic vote total for a Republican presidential candidate since 2004.

A similar pattern has emerged in states with large Hispanic populations. In Florida, a survey by Democratic polling firm Equis Research found Biden running 11 points behind Hillarious Clinton’s Hispanic vote margin over Trump in a state that she lost. According to a new NBC/Marist poll released this week, among Latino voters, Trump is leading in the Sunshine State with 50 percent compared to Biden’s 46.

A recent Rice University and Texas Hispanic Policy Foundation poll found Biden trailing Clinton’s Hispanic vote margin over Trump by a whopping 18 points. Meanwhile, a new Bendixen & Amandi poll found Trump crushing Biden by 38 points among Cuban Americans, which had been previously trending Democratic.

A Regression to the Mean or Something More?

GOP presidential candidates have averaged 31 percent of the Hispanic vote since 1980, placing Trump’s current public polling levels right above the historical mean. The president’s performance is even more noteworthy in the context of Democrats and Spanish-language mediaroutinely using immigration policy as a cudgel against conservatives.

Several factors drive the right’s growing success with Hispanic voters. First, Latinos recognize the president is a strong leader whose policies delivered record-low unemployment and poverty levels for our communities before the global pandemic.

The campaigns also have distinctly different approaches. While Democrats leverage celebrity endorsements to appeal to Hispanics, conservatives have developed a robust Latinos for Trump coalition that builds genuine relationships with grassroots, business, and religious leaders across the country. Deeper demographic, political, and cultural trends also point to the president’s gains being more than a regression to the mean.

An Economic Powerhouse

Certainly, one of the biggest challenges facing Biden is that Hispanics lead the nation in the creation of new small businesses while he and his party are pushing for massive tax increases that would cripple workers and entrepreneurs. DNC Chair Tom Perez has even said that socialists such as Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez are “the future” of his party, setting up both a 2020 and long-term problem for Democrats, as a third of Hispanic entrepreneurs are under 45.

Our economic success also debunks common leftist myths about opportunities in America. If the United States’ 60 million Latinos were our own country, our $2.3 trillion in economic activity would make us the world’s eighth-largest economy and the richest Latin American nation.

Latino entrepreneurs are also concerned about crime in their neighborhoods and are sensitive to the threat it poses to their families and businesses. The nation watched in horror while rioters looted and burned black and Latino-owned businesses this summer, a fact that did not go unnoticed by Hispanic Americans. An Ipsos study found that a majority of Hispanics oppose the left-wing “Defund the Police” movement. According to an August poll by YouGov, a plurality of Hispanics (48 percent) also believe the protests have gone too far. Additionally, Latinos were the group most likely to strongly agree with the statement, “I support protests if they are peaceful, but they lose my support when they become violent.”

Much of Trump’s Policy Agenda Is Popular with Hispanics

There is also a major disconnect between common media narratives that treat Hispanics as monolithic single-issue voters and how Hispanics actually feel about a wide range of issues. The caricatures that liberal reporters and pundits have concocted fail to capture the richness, political sophistication, and diversity of our communities.

GOP operatives often say that Hispanics are natural GOP constituents because we are hard-working, family-centric, and pro-life. This is all true, but we also resist the left’s cultural edicts. Much of the president’s broader policy agenda — yes, including on immigration — is popular with Hispanics. This is a fact that befuddles many political observers, and some refuse even to acknowledge it.

For instance, when the president announced in April that he was temporarily halting immigration to combat the Wuhan coronavirus, a major Spanish-language network anchor blasted the decision as an “attack” against immigrants, but a Washington Post/University of Maryland poll reported that 69 percent of Hispanics nationwide backed the measure. This scenario plays itself out across a variety of issues on a near-daily basis.

No Hablamos Woke

Instead of moving to the center, Democrats are rendering themselves culturally incompatible with Hispanics with their embrace of “cancel culture” and other extreme forms of political correctness. As a 2018 study found, Hispanics were more likely than whites to note that political correctness is a problem in the country. The Spanish-language networks are well aware that Hispanics value tradition and tend to be culturally conservative, which is why they rarely expose their audiences to left-wing extremism on issues such as abortion and the destruction of public monuments.

There is no better example of the Democrats’ cultural incompetence than the insistence of liberals such as Biden and Elizabeth Warren on imposing the atrocious “Latinx” ethnic label on our communities, a term that virtually no one uses and is unpronounceable in Spanish.

Culturally Adroit Engagement

While many of Biden’s Hispanic woes can be attributed to the unpopularity of his policies and deeper problems with the direction of the Democratic Party, there is also much that Trump’s campaign is doing right.

Since the June 2019 Miami launch of our Latinos for Trump coalition, our team has knocked on the doors of millions of Hispanic households across the country, hosted a slew of Latinos for Trump online broadcasts and roundtables at small businesses, and opened black and Hispanic outreach offices in key states.

We also have a top-notch Hispanic communications shop that a leading Hispanic columnist described as being “much stronger” than the Biden campaign’s Hispanic press efforts. This includes Spanish-language ads, bilingual surrogates, and our culturally adroit Equipo Trump Twitter account, which the New Yorker has dubbed a “brazen effort” to court Hispanic voters (¡Gracias!).

President Reagan famously said, “Latinos are Republicans. They just don’t know it yet.” Clearly, there is much work to be done, and we take nothing for granted, but Trump’s campaign — with the Democrats’ help — is showing conservatives how to help Hispanics come to that realization.

That one made me chuckle.  The Dems messaging is just so horrible.  The Dem Leaders forgot about the working Joe or Jose while they were running to China to enrich themselves.  They are out of touch with America and have been since Clinton’s first term.

So, if Woolworth thought President Trump was misleading the public, and he thought it was an issue, why is he waiting four months to bring it to light?  Why not, right then and there, call his editor and reveal this knowledge to the public?  Because Woolworth is a fraud.

Actually a few weeks later President Trump said the same thing in a press conference.  So, why all of a sudden, 4 months later, it is an issue?  Because it's not.

Oh, and he's way ahead of Mattis and has done a fantastic job as President.  Perhaps the greatest President ever.  If President Trump is so corrupt why hasn't he been removed from Office?  All the investigations and not even a parking ticket.

Trump “playing down” coronavirus to “avoid panic” is deja vu all over again

We did this back in March: “The statements I made are: I want to keep the country calm. I don’t want to panic in the country. I could cause panic much better than even you.” The Bob Woodward bombshell is not a bombshell, but why is Trump even talking to reporters who are out to get him?

Trump is nothing if not a fighter; if someone wants to give him crap he'll dish it right back out to them.  Not necessarily the best expenditure of energy, but as a hustling New York City business man it's like the breath of life to him.

Actually he is an impeached president just like Clinton....both saved by their party from being removed...impeached nonetheless.  And if he wins in November, he'll more than likely end up the first pOTUS to be impeached more than once

Bob Woodward played Trump like a fiddle, completely outmatched....and the onus is on Trump for lying ON TAPE, not Woodward.
