Al-Taskhiri is one of the members of the Assembly of Experts of the Leadership in the current fifth session, whose elections took place in conjunction with the parliamentary elections, on 21 February. Al-Tskhiri studied in Najaf, Iraq, the elementary and preparatory stages, and continued his academic studies in the Faculty of Jurisprudence, from which he obtained a bachelor's degree in Arabic sciences and Islamic jurisprudence, and he received seminary lessons there as well, and after that he returned to Iran.
