General Amir Ali Haji Zadeh, the commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps, said in a video published by the Iranian correspondents club news agency, which is affiliated to the Iranian government television, that the Revolutionary Guards launched ballistic missiles from "the depth of the earth" for the first time in the framework of annual military exercises. The video showed clouds of dust before the rockets launched into the sky.

The US military said that the exercises pushed two US forces bases in the region to raise the level of alert and that Tehran's launching the missiles was an irresponsible behavior. The video showed fast attack boats launching missiles and missiles hitting a model of an American aircraft carrier.

And Tehran conducts annual marine exercises in stages in the waterway through which about 30 percent of the total trade of crude oil and other oil liquids transported by sea pass.

China attacks Britain, accusing it of poisoning relations and igniting the Cold War

China on Thursday blamed Britain for deteriorating relations after Prime Minister Boris Johnson imposed a ban on Chinese Huawei in the fifth-generation network in Britain, and accused London of poisoning ties by interfering in Hong Kong affairs.

Reuters quoted the remarks of the Chinese ambassador to Britain, Liu Xiaoming, who said: "These actions seriously poisoned the atmosphere of relations between China and Britain."

"Some British politicians cling to the Cold War mentality, play against the so-called threat of China, see China as a hostile country, and threaten complete secession from China until they are so embarrassed to talk of a new Cold War against China," he added.

The ambassador warned Britain that it would have no future if it sought to move away from Beijing.

"It is difficult to conceive of" global Britain "if it excludes or excludes China," moving away from China "means moving away from opportunities, away from growth and away from the future," Ming concluded.

Trump is carrying out his threat to Germany, withdrawing more than 12,000 soldiers, and turning them over to other European countries

30th July, 2020

Pentagon officials said that the United States will withdraw 12 thousand soldiers from Germany, and will return about 6400 of them to the country, while 5400 will be transferred to other countries in Europe.

General Todd Walters, the top commander of US forces in NATO in Europe, said that the United States will transfer the headquarters of the US forces mission in the European Union from Germany to Belgium, noting that the headquarters of the US forces operating in Africa "Africom" may move to a location that is Select it as well. "We also plan to reassign three brigade-sized headquarters, an air defense artillery battalion, an engineering battalion to Belgium, and two smaller support forces to Italy," Walters told reporters at the Pentagon.

The senior US military official indicated that an F-16 fighter squadron will be transferred from Germany to Italy, and two battalions will be transferred from Germany to Italy as well. And US President Donald Trump issued the decision, which will be implemented in years, and will cost billions of dollars, due to Berlin's refusal to raise the budget for its military spending in NATO from 1.38% of the country's GDP to 2%, although military spending in Belgium Less than that is 0.93%, while Italy spends 1.22%.

Last month, US President Donald Trump said that Germany was one of the countries that refused what it was supposed to spend in NATO. "So let them pay, we will withdraw our soldiers, we will reduce the number of soldiers to about half, we'll see where we are headed."

The head of the German parliament's Foreign Relations Committee Norbert Reutgen, a staunch ally of German Chancellor Angela Merkel, criticized the US decision, and wrote in his tweet on Twitter: “By withdrawing 12,000 soldiers from Germany, the United States is achieving the opposite of what US Defense Secretary Mark Esper announced, of strengthening NATO alliance, saying that the American move "will weaken the alliance. The military influence of the United States will not increase, but will decrease, with regard to Russia and the Near and Middle East.

The Governor of Bavaria, a member of the Merkel bloc, expressed regret over the US government’s decision, adding, “Unfortunately, this is seriously damaging to German-American relations. No military benefit can be seen, "confirming that the US decision weakens NATO and the United States itself."

The German Ministry of Defense issued a short press release on the withdrawal, confirming that it had been informed of the action by the Pentagon, and that it would "work closely with the affected German states, as well as the US government and NATO in its implementation." Defense Secretary Mark Esper said that the United States will establish a combat squadron of the US Army in Poland as soon as a defense cooperation agreement is concluded between Washington and Warsaw.

Gave proof through the night
That our flag was still there
Oh say does that star spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free, and the home of the brave

31st July, 2020

A Twitter official stated, on Wednesday, that the tweets in which Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei calls for Israel’s destruction do not violate the company’s rules against hate speech.

Ylwa Pettersson, Twitter’s head policy for the Nordic countries and Israel said, "We have an approach toward leaders that says that direct interactions with fellow public figures, comments on political issues of the day, or foreign policy saber-rattling on military-economic issues are generally not in violation of our rules".

Pettersson was responding to a question by a pro-Israel activist, about the reason Twitter attached a special label to a recent tweet by US President Donald Trump noting that it violated the company’s rules, while the Iranian leaders’ many tweets about his wish for Israel to be destroyed are left untouched.

Stifling Iran .. Tehran is crying out for its terrorism: no one wants to deal with us financially

image.jpeg.d8f9e4aa0202cf4d6b72e3d7de8279b4.jpeg

2nd August, 2020

Tehran has entered the most difficult stage of sanctions. The Iranian currency is not touched by anyone and does not deal with it. Even its top financial partners, such as Russia and China, fear US sanctions. Experts said that this is the last stage before the fall and collapse.

Even food, Iran cannot buy from abroad. Because of the terror money you own.

For his part, the head of the Iranian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Majeed Reza Hariri, said that China and Russia are refraining from any banking exchange with Iran because of international sanctions. "Iran currently does not have any banking dealings with Russia and China. If any person with an Iranian passport asks for banking services in these two countries, he will be rejected,"Hariri was quoted by the Iranian Labor Agency as saying. Hariri said, according to the report,

"There is no bank willing to cooperate with us because we are accused of money laundering.

This matter, in addition to the American sanctions, imposed double pressure on us."

The Iranian official considered that Iran's failure to ratify the "Financial Action Group" treaty on money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism, and US sanctions, put Iran in financial isolation. The International Financial Action Task Force "FATF" has placed Iran on its blacklist since last February, for not abiding by international rules to combat money laundering and terrorist financing. This decision was taken after the end of the deadline granted to Iran, during a meeting attended by more than 800 delegates from 205 countries and a number of international organizations such as the United Nations, the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank.

The decision came after more than three years of warnings sent by Tehran's financial team to urge it to join the anti-terrorist financing agreements
Both the Guardian Council and the Expediency Council - dominated by hardliners - refuse to ratify the Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Treaty !!

Iranian hardliners say that joining this treaty will prevent Iran from sending funds to its regional agents such as the Lebanese militia Hezbollah, the Palestinian Hamas movement and the Popular Mobilization factions in Iraq, which the United States and some other countries have designated as international terrorist groups. The pressure of the government of Iranian President Hassan Rouhani to ratify the FATF agreements did not succeed with the aim of relieving part of the international pressure and the financial embargo on Iran.

Iranian sources told Reuters that the Iranian central bank is unable to transfer billions of dollars from the proceeds of oil exports that accumulated between 2016 and 2018 into bank accounts that operate even through the mechanism. ”And those funds accumulated in bank accounts in countries where Iran sold oil to them, especially in Asia And, including South Korea and Japan, during the years after Iran signed its nuclear agreement with world powers and before the Trump administration withdrew from the agreement and reimposed sanctions on Iran in 2018. That money froze when imposing sanctions again targeting the Iranian Central Bank and dollar transactions with Iranian entities. As a result, international banks and their governments, from which they obtain approval, are afraid to allow the  release of these funds without special authorization from Washington on a case-by-case basis.

The South Korean Foreign Ministry confirmed that, under the current US sanctions, it is impossible to return the money in cash, and any permission in relation to the funds requires the authorization of the United States specifically. He also noted that Seoul discussed the Swiss track as another possible means of transferring money, pointing out that the United States has not shown a positive attitude towards these proposals. The most severe consequences of the US sanctions on Iran are on the way, and Tehran will pay the price dearly if it does not back down from terrorism.

And the records of the Iranian authorities indicate about 42 thousand deaths due to the virus until July 20, compared to 14,405 reported by the Iranian government.

Although many countries have experienced difficulties in counting injuries and deaths, the information received by BBC, through a source it has not disclosed, indicates that the Iranian authorities have reported a daily number much lower than the real numbers, indicating that a deliberate attempt to conceal the truth.

The information obtained by the BBC includes the number of injuries admitted to hospitals daily, the names of the victims, symptoms and data regarding the length of stay in the hospital. The source indicated that he decided to share the information with the British Broadcasting Corporation to reveal the truth about what is happening in Iran and end the "political games" about the epidemic.  The BBC stated that it was unable to verify whether this source was working with any administration in the Iranian government or how it had accessed this data.

Turkish opposition warns of economic collapse: the country is in a critical crisis

HVPHV9Swmwsqszp0-zOfkd_RQzwhau0dZ8pig2dY

3rd August, 2020

The Turkish opposition has warned that the country's economy is going through a critical and unprecedented crisis, despite the attempts of the Justice and Development Government to portray the economic situation as stable. The head of development policies of the Turkish Good Party, Ismail Tatlioglu, denied that the Turkish economy had recovered, saying that he was still going through a critical period.

According to the Turkish website "Ahwal", the unemployment and growth rates revealed by the Statistics Authority confirmed that the country's economy witnessed its worst period between 2015 and 2020. Tatli warned of depleting the country's potential, in recent years, because Turkey is heading towards a decline, not a rise.

For his part, the party's deputy head of economic policies, Gam Aoba, said that Turkey's reserves are declining monthly by about 5 billion dollars. He added that bank reserves have become estimated between 40 and 50 billion dollars, when compulsory obligations are excluded. The Turkish exhibitor stated that this reserve will enable banks to move forward for a period of up to eight months at the maximum limits. Oba added that the process of flow of foreign capital to Turkey has stopped, benefiting that the process of melting the monetary reserve cannot be continued.

Last week, the leader of the opposition Republican People's Party, Kemal Kılıçdaro أوlu, said Turkey was experiencing the worst crisis in its history. Kılıçdaro أوlu criticized what he described as the government's failed policy in managing the economy and wasting it over $ 2 trillion, indicating that no one knows where this huge sum was spent, while Turkey faces a very large debt crisis. Ihsanoglu said, during a press conference, that the independence of the Turkish economy faces a very great danger, adding: "We live in an era of subordination of the judiciary to the presidential palace, and together we will demolish the wall that prevents us from accessing justice."

Disturbing numbers

A report by the New York American newspaper shed light on the crisis the Turkish economy is going through, noting that the Turkish lira crisis has reached a worrying level, after it appeared that the country's central bank was no longer able to curb the currency's decline to record levels. The currency fell to more than 8 pounds against the euro, and this number has not been recorded since 2018, when the lira fell in a manner described as "catastrophic" and lost a significant percentage of its value. The lira had begun to recover against the dollar, but analysts suggested that the central bank had found itself unable to secure the reserves needed to buy the lira and support its value.

In the pandemic crisis, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan adopted a policy that urges banks to lend, as well as put pressure on banks to keep the interest rate at a level lower than the rate of inflation. This policy raised fears of increasing the debt, as well as forcing investors to sell Turkish assets, which will inevitably lead to weakening the lira against other currencies.

Mosul Fall Committee: Barzani hired Bardogan after Saddam to restore his authority over Nineveh

%D8%B5%D9%82%D8%A8-696x435.jpg

11:59 - 04/08/2020

A member of the Mosul Fall Committee, the former deputy from Nineveh, Abd al-Rahman al-Luizi, revealed on Tuesday, the details of the withdrawal of the Kurdish forces from Nineveh and their abandonment of the Yezidis in Sinjar, indicating that Masoud Barzani used the Turkish army to restore his authority over Nineveh, as he did in the time of Saddam when he used Saddam against Talabani.

Al-Luwezi said in a statement to “Information” that “after ISIS took control of Nineveh, the Peshmerga forces entered the headquarters of the Third Division Army, in Tamarat, and seized all weapons and mechanisms, in a scenario similar to what happened to the 12th Division in Kirkuk, and the Peshmerga control was far from ISIS control is only 50 meters, and no one has anything to do with the other.” He added, “The size of the Peshmerga forces in Nineveh Governorate is a division of five brigades, each brigade in the district, respectively,“ Makhmur, Al-Hamdaniya, Telkif, Sheikhan, and Sinjar. ”The brigade in the Nineveh Plain was a presidential brigade called “Al-Zrifati”. On this day six years ago, the Peshmerga forces withdrew, from Sinjar, without firing a single bullet, leaving the Yezidis facing their inevitable fate.

He explained that “what remains in Sinjar are small and simple units of the PKK who stayed on Mount Sinjar, so the civilians went towards the mountain, where there are PKK elements who protected them from tracking ISIS elements The Iraqi government was forced to deal with the PKK who were the only force on the ground with the Yazidis, then the PKK elements assisted the Yezidis to cross the mountain from the other bank and entered them through the Vishkhabur crossing to Dohuk, the Yazidis continued to condemn the PKK with this favor, and a number of them joined PKK ranks, forming what is known as the Sinjar Protection Units, while the Kurdistan Democrat, preferred to cling to the government, is charged with dealing with PKK elements.”

Allawizi noted that “the Democrat’s accusation of the government to deal with PKK elements is in fact because the Democrat lost his influence in Sinjar in favor of the Sinjar Protection Units, and he is using them to help them in a scenario that recalls the scenario in 199, when the Democrat used Saddam to strike the Kurds.
