Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi expressed optimism about the future of Iraqi-Saudi relations, and what could witness bilateral cooperation between the two brotherly neighbors in various fields, while Al-Kazemi expressed his hope for the recovery of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and his discharge from the hospital soon, the Iraqi delegation signed , Who visited the Kingdom, a set of agreements and memoranda within the coordination council between the two countries in the fields of investment, education, sports, energy, and others. 
It was hoped that the Prime Minister would, yesterday, Monday, make an official visit at the head of a ministerial delegation, to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, but that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud was exposed to an urgent health problem and subsequently entered the hospital, which prevented the completion of that visit.
In a tweet on his Twitter platform, Al-Kazemi said, "I look forward to the complete health and well-being of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, as soon as possible, so that I can visit Saudi Arabia and check in person."
He added that "the relations of Iraq and the Kingdom are solid and based on faith in common strategic interests, and I am optimistic about its future."
Earlier yesterday, Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi, in a statement received by Al-Sabah, attributed the postponement of his visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, that he “received with solidarity and fraternal reaction the news that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud was exposed to an urgent health problem that has subsequently entered To the hospital for some checks. "
The statement added that "with a prior date for the visit of the Prime Minister to the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, it was decided to postpone the visit to the earliest possible date agreed upon by the two sides."
Al-Kazemi confirmed in a telephone conversation with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, "his warm wishes to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, for the health and safety of the people and for the brotherly Saudi people to continue prosperity and peace."
And the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced, on Monday (July 20, 2020), the postponement of the visit of Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi to Riyadh, after the transfer of King Salman bin Abdulaziz to the hospital.
The Saudi Foreign Minister, Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, said through his account on Twitter: "The Kingdom appreciates the choice of the Iraqi Prime Minister to visit her as the first country after taking office, and to celebrate this extremely important visit and a desire to provide all means of success for her, our responsible leadership has influenced, in coordination with our brothers In Iraq, the visit was postponed until after the departure of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques from the hospital. "
On Monday, the Saudi monarch, King Salman, entered the King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Riyadh to perform some tests, according to a statement issued by the Royal Court.
The royal statement stated: "The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, entered yesterday, Monday 29 Dhu Al-Qi'dah 1441 AH, corresponding to July 20, 2020 AD, King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Riyadh to perform some tests due to the presence of inflammation in the gallbladder."
An Iraqi delegation headed by the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance Ali Abdul-Amir Allawi, arrived in Riyadh yesterday, in preparation for the conclusion of agreements with Saudi Arabia during the visit that was scheduled to be conducted by Al-Kazemi, which is his first visit outside the country.
The meetings of the Iraqi-Saudi Coordination Council chaired by Ali Abdul-Amir Allawi, Minister of Finance and President of the Iraqi side, and Dr. Majid Al-Qasabi, Minister of Trade and President of the Saudi side, began in Riyadh on Sunday, Sunday, to discuss strengthening and developing relations in various political, economic and cultural fields, and protecting common interests .
The delegate of the Iraqi News Agency (conscious) said yesterday, Monday, that "the Iraqi delegation signed a set of agreements and memoranda within the coordination council between the two countries in the fields of investment, education, sports, energy and others."
On Monday morning, a new round of discussions was launched within the work of the Iraqi-Saudi Coordination Council.
The Iraqi News Agency delegate, "Conscious", stated that "the second day of the round of talks was launched within the work of the Iraqi-Saudi Coordination Council held in Riyadh."
On the other hand, the envoy pointed out that "the Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers Hamid Al-Ghazzi met the Secretary-General of the Iraqi-Saudi Coordination Council Abdul Rahman Al-Harbi."
While the Ambassador of Riyadh in Baghdad, Abdul Aziz Al-Shammari, stated in a press statement that the meetings represent a great impetus for the development of Saudi-Iraqi relations and a real breakthrough towards more coordination and cooperation in various 
Domains.
Al-Shammari stressed that the Saudi-Iraqi Coordination Council, which began its meetings yesterday, discussed all areas of concern to the two countries, especially political, economic and cultural, and the promotion of investments in energy and agriculture ... and others.
