Iraqi militias protest against secret Iranian-American understandings

Views differed regarding the targeting of a number of Katyusha rockets at the Green Zone in central Baghdad, coinciding with the visit of Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and his meeting with Iraqi officials in a regular attack on the Green Zone, but it rarely occurs in broad daylight .. No party has claimed responsibility for the attack.

Opinions differed on that attack, which is often carried out by sectarian armed militias loyal to Iran, and among these views there are those who say that the recent attack is a message from these militias loyal to Iran to the Iranian Foreign Minister (Javad Zarif) during that visit during the day.

The question remains: Why are these Iraqi armed militias loyal to Iran attacking the missile? .. These armed militias are financially gaining and stolen from Iranian financial support to them throughout the past years, and they feel that there are secret understandings taking place between (Iran and America) to trim the nails of these armed militias inside Iraq .. and especially that we realize that the recent military confrontations that occurred between the American forces operating in Iraq and Iran after the American assassination of Qasim Soleimani, and the Iranian missile attack on the American military bases in Iraq occurred because of the targeting of these Iraqi militias, which are instructed (Soleimani) orders, to the American embassy in the green Zone.

Iran, which suffers from many mysterious daily explosions inside Iranian cities, pressures of the American economic sanctions against it, the scarcity of Iranian oil exports, the Iranian regime’s suffering from the increasing demonstrations and popular protests that threaten the fall of the mullahs ’regime, in addition to the increasing deaths among the Iranians due to the Corona pandemic, where the number of injuries 25 million Iranians, and another 35 million are at risk of infection, according to President (Rouhani's) recent confession.

All these factors are common with Iran’s desire to conclude a deal with President Trump after the results of the upcoming elections in America, all of which makes Iran resort to temporary secret understandings with (Washington), including neutralizing the weapons of pro-Iranian Iraqi militias in Iraq .. and its recent missiles on the Green Zone During (Zarif )’s visit, it is a message: “We, that is, the militias, are not committed to a truce between Iran and America ... and we will continue to bomb the American forces.”

That is, the terrorist militias in Iraq say to America and Iran: "cutting the throats and not cutting the livelihoods" .. This is the behavior of mercenaries everywhere.

Have the bombings of Iran started from the inside?

4-29-730x438-341x341.jpg

Since last month, Iran has witnessed a series of explosions, whose theaters were nuclear, missile and industrial facilities as well. On June 26, an explosion occurred at a missile production plant, which coincided with a massive fire at Shiraz at a power plant, and then an explosion at a medical center in Tehran on the thirtieth of the same month.

On July 2, a major explosion and fire occurred in the centrifuge assembly department at the Natanz nuclear facility. On the fourth of it, a fire occurred in Al-Ahwaz station, followed by an explosion in the oxygen tanks in the industrial area of Baqer Shahr on the seventh of this month. On the tenth of that, an explosion occurred in the Revolutionary Guards missile depot, west of the capital, Tehran, followed by an explosion at the Shahid Petrochemical Facility on the 12th of this month.

Iran's steadfast geopolitical goals are the unity of the interior, the continuity of the system, and the consolidation of its role as a recognized regional power. And based on these axioms, its strategy is based on the element of fighting with external arms to show its regional strength, and that its internal arena is not the scene of fighting with others, in order not to allow the unity of the interior to be undermined, so what happened recently in successive explosions, for sensitive targets, and in a short period in its theater Internal, it is considered a major shift, and gives the impression that there is an external actor, adopting a new targeting strategy that was not familiar to the decision-maker in Tehran. This strategy takes the status quo in which Iran is living, as a way to deepen its wounds and further harm it. The stifling economic crisis, due to the American economic and political sanctions, has toppled the local currency by 70% of its value, and there is great social anger and frustration caused by the death of nearly 12,000 people who died because Corona pandemic. Also, the capitals that the regime’s symbols boasted of controlling, have become symbols of hunger, corruption and bankruptcy, and their project in them is running down to the bottom. And do not forget that it received a severe blow early in the year, when the American forces killed the architect of its foreign strategy, Qassem Soleimani. All of these defeats and setbacks give the other side an opportunity to bite off more of the Iranian shelf and spoil its sword in this body, but the question remains, who benefits?

In order to indicate the entity or entities benefiting from the recent bombings in Iran, it should be recalled that last April, an Iranian cyber attack targeted the water network in Israel. In May, the latter responded to the attack with a similar act, disrupting one of the facilities of the Bandar Abbas port for several days and confusing shipping traffic there. And because the recent bombings were not attributed by the government to a human act on the ground, and they did not state that the explosions had occurred with explosive devices, or any other military weapon, talk about coordinated cyber attacks became the reason for what happened. Thus, the fingerprints of Israel, and perhaps the United States as a partner or guarantor in this act, became available, especially since these two actors have a precedent in cooperating in leading a cyber attack against the Natanz facility in 2010, and led to the destruction of hundreds of centrifuges.
All of this indicates the beginning of a new phase of targeting against Iran, and specifically against its nuclear project, especially as Washington's “maximum pressure” policy has reached its maximum ranges, in addition to which the decision maker in Washington has no idea of transforming the confrontation with Tehran to a direct confrontation, no matter how long it takes. This trend is not born today, but has been in the strategy to deal with the Iranian regime since 1979.

The beginning of a new stage of targeting against Iran, especially since Washington's "maximum pressure" policy has reached its maximum levels.

As for the timing of the targets, they are also calculated by both Washington and Tel Aviv. In addition to investing in the difficulties that Tehran faces, there are circumstances that affect the Israeli and American actors imposed on the timing. The United States faces a major turning point, which is the upcoming presidential elections. President Trump is facing major setbacks in light of the health conditions that were removed from his hand and the economic achievements paper, and therefore he has nothing left but to raise the banner of the Iranian nuclear program. The timing also coincides with a diplomatic move at the United Nations to extend the arms embargo on Tehran, along with prior indications from the International Atomic Energy Agency that Iran has not responded to requests made to it.

On the Israeli side, there is a race against time to do everything possible to disrupt the Iranian nuclear program, because US President Trump has only a few months left in the White House if he is not re-elected, and that the Biden Democrat promises that his victory in the upcoming elections means a return to the nuclear agreement, which Trump withdrew from it, and this worries Israel a lot, and may force it to do a lightning strike. As for how the Iranian decision-maker deals with all these circumstances, his options can be summed up with the following points: First, avoid escalation whenever possible at the present time, so as not to give the Europeans a justification to go strongly to support the American position. Second, continuing the indirect response through its arms, especially in Iraq, because there are American assets that can be targeted with missiles. Third, if it is forced to respond directly, it will be calculated, agreed upon and sent to the Americans through diplomatic channels, as happened in the response to the American forces at Ein al-Assad base after the killing of Qassem Soleimani. Fourth, the response may be of the same kind as the verb, that is, a cyber response that targets facilities in Israel, the United States, and its allies as well. Fifth, the escalation of work on the nuclear program and the disallowance of verification by the International Atomic Energy Organization, and the accusation of its experts that they provided information to the Israeli and American intelligence agencies, as they were the cause of the recent targets in the Iranian depth. Although these options seem possible, what worries decision-makers in Tehran now is not the nature of the response, but rather how to preserve the theory of terror, which it has built over decades at home and abroad, and which is based on the fact that it will not be invincible and that its arms are everywhere, awaiting the signal. At a time when questions are still being asked about the reason for not responding, equivalent to the loss of Qasim Soleimani, recent events have raised more questions about how to penetrate highly important strategic installations, presumably very fortified? Indeed, some political and military research centers in the West argue that there has been a great intelligence breach in the Iranian depth, evidence of the great hunting in the killing of Soleimani, and the subsequent explosions, but it is another page of this breach, and they are even talking about that the downing of the Ukrainian plane With an Iranian missile and the announcement of the United States before the Tehran government, the bombing of Iranian ships for an Iranian frigate, and the killing of a number of soldiers, all indications of a violation of Iran's missile defense systems.

"The Iraqi security forces still need help, as the UK provides training and guidance in addition to air support," he said, noting that "the terrorists have no place to hide in. We have destroyed hidden bunkers and bases, but this effort is long-term."

"The UK is still determined to ensure that those who have fought or supported ISIS must pay the price for their crimes," Wallace said, calling for them to be tried under an appropriate judicial system in the places where the crimes occurred.

British lawmakers had announced that about 900 citizens had traveled to the Middle East to join ISIS, and Wallace said: “Of these, approximately 20% were killed, 40% returned to the United Kingdom where they were interrogated, and the majority was now evaluated as not constituting Dangerous, and about 40% are still in conflict areas or in facilities managed by the SDF. ”

As for how the Iranian decision-maker deals with all these circumstances, his options can be summed up with the following points: First, avoid escalation whenever possible at the present time, so as not to give the Europeans a justification to go strongly to support system" rel="">support the American position. Indeed, some political and military research centers in the West argue that there has been a great intelligence breach in the Iranian depth, evidence of the great hunting in the killing of Soleimani, and the subsequent explosions, but it is another page of this breach, and they are even talking about that the downing of the Ukrainian plane With an Iranian missile and the announcement of the United States before the Tehran government, the bombing of Iranian ships for an Iranian frigate, and the killing of a number of soldiers, all indications of a violation of Iran's missile defense systems.

image.jpeg.8fec7f54f7f2d214e6305e8af5a7723d.jpeg

24th July, 2020

President of the Iranian Fars Province Chamber of Commerce, Jamal Razzaky, said on Friday that at least $22 billion in foreign currency has been embezzled.

Razaky confirmed that "at least $ 22 billion of the Iranian currency has disappeared under the sanctions, under the pretext of allocating the government currency for import."

Razaki did not explain how and when these sums disappeared, but he pointed out that this "corruption" resulted from the granting of hard currency at a government price (42 thousand against the dollar) to importers and traders.

The Iranian official also saw that "the government should cut off the allocation of the currency supported by 4,200 tomans due to corruption and patronage, but instead should allocate those resources in the form of coupons, in order to increase workers’ wages and support the Relief Committee and the health care organization."

Yassin Iraq: Baghdad

Today, Saturday morning, the international coalition began handing over its location within a basmaya base south of the capital Baghdad to the Iraqi authorities.

After the latter's success in its war against ISIS, the International Alliance said in a statement seen by Yassin Iraq.

On Saturday night, the Security Media Cell announced that 4 Katyusha rockets had landed inside Bsmaya camp, which were likely to have launched from Diyala Governorate.

The cell said that the missile "the first landed on an armor depot and the second on the caravans belonging to the Mascara Protection Regiment and the other two missiles landed in an empty yard without casualties."

Armed groups target military bases where the international coalition is located alongside Iraqi forces.

The fact that the targeting came on the eve of the withdrawal, raised the possibility that the military operation that targeted a security protection base would have the effect of handing it over to the security forces.

But the coalition indicated in its statement that it "is working to reposition its positions in Iraq by planning for a long time these military moves with the Iraqi government."

He said he transferred "the seventh location he was occupying during this year as part of an ongoing partnership between the Iraqi security forces and the international coalition."

The coalition subsequently withdrew from several locations, successively handing the Qayyarah and Anbar bases to the Iraqi forces, then the latter received a base operated by the Alliance Mission in Nineveh, then the mission left from the Habbaniyah military base in Anbar.

The House of Representatives had voted to remove foreign forces from Iraq early next year after the airport operation in which an American plane targeted the Vice-President of the Popular Mobilization and Leader of the Iranian Quds Force.

19:38 - 07/25/2020

The Turkish Air Force conducted training in the atmosphere of the eastern Mediterranean region, against the backdrop of increasing tensions between Ankara and its regional neighbors.

The Turkish Ministry of Defense announced in a tweet published today, Saturday, through its account on "Twitter" that the Air Force Command conducted Thursday, July 23, "training missions in the eastern Mediterranean", accompanied by pictures and videos about the exercises.

This comes in light of the escalation of tensions due to exploration projects carried out by Turkey in the eastern Mediterranean, despite the protests of its neighbors, Greece and the internationally recognized Republic of Cyprus.

Relations between Ankara and Athens have witnessed a recent escalation, against the backdrop of the decision of the Turkish authorities to restore the Hagia Sophia Historical Museum in Istanbul to a mosque. The situation in Libya remains another source of escalation in the region, with Turkey providing direct support to one of the parties to the conflict, the reconciliation government resulting from the Skhirat agreement.

Hook: A project will be presented to extend the sanctions on Iran

131751.jpg?width=750&&height=375

26th July, 2020

US Special Envoy to Iran, Brian Hook, Sunday, July 26, 2020, warned of the danger of the regime in Tehran to the Iranian people and the countries of the region, as well as the repercussions of not extending the sanctions, including the arms embargo.

After holding talks in Tunisia as part of a tour that will include Gulf and European countries, Hook said, a project will be presented that seeks to be endorsed by all members of the Security Council, whether permanent members or not, including Tunisia, to extend the sanctions.

Hook warned that failure to extend the arms embargo would mean more arms exports from Iran to Yemen, Syria, Iraq and Lebanon, and more Iranian weapons to Hezbollah, Hamas, and others.

Before that, the US special envoy to Iran said that the Iranian people are more united than ever, and that by standing next to each other, they are much stronger than the Basij weapons or the Revolutionary Guards prisons.

Hook called for the release of political prisoners, and 3 of last November's protesters sentenced to death.

He added that President Trump stands with millions of Iranians, in protest of these unfair rulings and the behavior of the Iranian regime. He made clear that world leaders protested in support of the Iranian people, who are demanding accountability and justice.

Joint operations comment on expectations that the international coalition will remain with only two bases

128523.jpg?watermark=4

Policy 2020/07/26 20:34 299
Baghdad today _ Baghdad  Today,

Sunday, the spokesman for the joint operations, Tahsin Al-Khafaji, commented on reports that spoke about the desire of the international coalition to withdraw from all bases in Iraq and limit their survival to only two bases.

Al-Khafaji said, in an interview with (Baghdad Today), that "the withdrawal of the coalition forces is subject to an agreement between the Iraqi government and the international coalition according to a timetable, and the handover takes place according to the timetable prepared for it."

The spokesperson for the joint operations added, "An agreement in this regard is taking place between the Iraqi government and the coalition, and the issue of changing the agreement according to the need for training belongs to the government."

Earlier, Saad al-Muttalabi, a leader in the State of Law coalition led by Nuri al-Maliki, confirmed today, Sunday, that handing over some military bases to Iraqi forces by the international coalition forces does not mean the withdrawal of those forces from Iraq, but rather repositioning them with other common bases, according to Saying it.

"What is going on is the process of handing over some of the military bases to Iraqi forces, and this process was continuing in 2008 and 2009, but after 2014, some of the international coalition forces settled in these bases," al-Muttalabi said in an interview with (Baghdad Today)).

He explained, "What is going on is the reorganization of the international coalition forces, and their repositioning in other common bases," stressing that "what is happening is not a withdrawal of those forces, and talking about the withdrawal is inaccurate, and there is no truth to that."

Al-Muttalabi added, "Until now, there is no agreement for the withdrawal of the international coalition forces from Iraq, or even reducing the number of these forces."

Yesterday, Saturday, the International Coalition Forces handed over their position within the Basmaya Camp, southeast of Baghdad, to Iraqi forces.

After that, the International Alliance issued an official statement on the departure of its forces from the camp, in which it said, "Thanks to the successes of the Iraqi security forces in the campaign against Aisha, the international coalition is working to reposition its forces inside Iraq."

The statement indicated that "these military moves have been planned for a long time, and in coordination with the Iraqi government."

The statement added, "Major General Gerald Strickland, Deputy Joint Task Force, Operation Solid Torque for Strategic Affairs, transferred the seventh site occupied by the international coalition and this year to the Iraqi security forces, as part of an important partnership between the international coalition forces and the Iraqi security forces against ISIS."

The spokesman for the joint operations, Major General Tahsin al-Khafaji, said last Thursday, "The presence of the coalition forces was to fight the terrorist organization ISIS, and the organization still constitutes a threat in Iraq, but the need for the presence of such camps and advisers has disappeared."

Al-Khafaji added during his talk to (Baghdad Today), that "the international coalition forces began to reduce their presence and camps in Iraq according to an agreed program between the international coalition and the Iraqi government," noting that "the first months of this year witnessed the handing over of a large number of camps, and the program is running As planned. "

He explained, "Camp Bismayah agreed to hand it over according to the timetable," noting that "6 sites have been received so far from the international coalition forces, and Bismayah is the seventh site, and there are other sites that will be handed over."

He stated, "A special Basmah training camp, in which the Spanish-Portuguese forces are present, to train the Iraqi forces."

Tehran: We will make America regret its opposition to the Iranian plane

%D8%B7%D9%87%D8%B1%D8%A7%D9%86-696x435.j

11:07 - 7/27/2020

Tehran threatened, on Monday, the United States that it would make it regret its recent opposition to the Iranian passenger plane, which it described as a "very serious terrorist threat".

"The Americans have tested all kinds of piracy with Iran," said Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Abbas Mousavi , and they have moved from maritime piracy to air piracy, . We will respond to him in due course.

Mousavi confirmed that Iran, the Foreign Ministry, and the armed forces, the judiciary, and the Civil Aviation Authority will take the necessary measures that "will make the United States regret its actions."

In response to the statements of US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo regarding the extension of the arms embargo on Iran, Mousavi said: "We rule out that America can achieve its goals in extending the arms embargo, which is a thug demand that we do not believe that the countries of the world will respond to."

He added: "We hope that the United States will stop putting pressure on this matter because it is futile and useless efforts, and Iran will do its utmost to obtain its legal right to lift the arms embargo."
