14th July, 2020

General Kenneth F. McKinsey Jr., Commander-in-Chief of the US Central Command, said his country would push forward with the arms embargo imposed on Iran at the United Nations, adding in a press conference, on Tuesday, that any military action by Iran in the region would be "very expensive", As he put it.

The Commander in Chief of the US Central Command said that the number of American forces in the region is linked to developments, both high and low, at the regional level, noting that Tehran "has a very sensitive position" in the region, especially after the killing of the Quds Force Commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Qassem Soleimani in January. The second last 2020.

On the presence of the American forces in Iraq, General McKinsey stressed that the Iraqi authorities welcome the American presence, considering that Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi “does everything right” and that the United States agrees with the Iraqi government's directions regarding the armed factions, stressing that the government Iraqiya is committed to securing American forces, while also praising engaging in a "strategic dialogue" between the United States and the Iraqi government.

On Iraqi calls for the departure of American forces in particular and foreigners in general, McKinsey said, there are consultations with the Iraqi government on the American presence.

With the repeated attacks on the Green Zone, which includes the American embassy in Baghdad, the Commander in Chief of the US Central Command in the Middle East said that there are "new protection systems in the Green Zone, if necessary."

On efforts to confront ISIS, General McKinsey said, "Our main goal on the ground is to defeat ISIS, and we exert great pressure on ISIS," considering that "ISIS is more an ideology than forces on the ground, so we cannot completely get rid of it. Therefore there are activities and guerrilla warfare." On the ground".

And General McKenzie pointed out that "Al Qaeda and ISIS have a desire to attack countries in the region as well as in Europe and the United States, our forces in the region are working to keep pressure on these organizations to not allow more attacks," as he put it.

Turkey and Iran test Al-Kazemi's reaction to "coordinated" military attacks

kazme.jpg

14th July, 2020

A report published by Israel Hayom newspaper on Tuesday considered that Turkey and Iran are testing the extent of Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi’s determination to deal with foreign entities through the implementation of coordinated military attacks unprecedented in the country.

According to the report written by "Maya Carlin", an analyst at the Center for Security Policy in Washington, that over two weeks, Turkey and Iran launched coordinated air and ground attacks, and the Turkish attacks, which were called "Operation Eagle Claw", targeted 150 sites of the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) in The Sinjar Mountains and Jbeil Qandil Mountains, and Iranian forces launched attacks against Iranian Kurdish groups in northern Iraq, in the Haj Omran region bordering them.

Carlin said Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif made an unannounced trip to Ankara on June 15, and according to Iranian media, Zarif said his trip to Turkey was necessary to discuss "bilateral issues and discuss the resumption of economic relations, energy cooperation and regional issues." She added that the Turkish air strikes that targeted northern Iraq began on the day Zarif left the country, and wondered if these attacks were addressed or planned at this meeting?

On June 18, Carlin recalled that Baghdad summoned the ambassadors of Turkey and Iran to discuss the ongoing military operations against Kurdish groups in the country, and demanded the Turkish ambassador to immediately stop provocative military actions on Iraqi soil, and the Iranian ambassador, Erg Masjidi, was reprimanded for the attacks of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Which resulted in property damage.

The Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued statements condemning both Iran and Turkey for their ongoing operations in the country, and the statement touched on "the necessity of the Turkish side's commitment to stop the bombing and the withdrawal of its forces from Iraqi territory."

Carlin said that Baghdad's reaction to these ongoing military operations will play a crucial role in the future of Baghdad’s relations with its neighbors, especially after Al-Kazemi’s pledge to protect Iraqi lands from those who endanger the country’s sovereignty, and he who assumed power during a turbulent period, in the wake of anti-government protests in All over the country is a growing economic crisis.

Early this year, the Iraqi parliament issued a statement declaring the necessity of removing all foreign forces from the country, and Washington pledged in recent talks between the United States and Iraq to reduce its forces from Iraq and a discussion with the Iraqi government on the status of the remaining forces while the two countries focus their focus on developing a bilateral security relationship Based on strong mutual interests."

An Iranian knowledge company inaugurated a nuclear radiation center with gamma rays in the Special Economic Zone of Jhar Mahal and Bakhtiari Province (southwest), which is the largest of its kind in the country.

Rehab Rafiei, CEO of "Sharparto Iranian" company said that this company, through the conclusion of contracts from Indian, Russian and Hungarian companies, and in light of the experts' enthusiasm, managed to present itself as one of the companies that own the technology of designing, manufacturing and operating irradiation systems with gamma rays in the private sector.

He added: The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, the European Food Safety Organization, the American Food and Drug Administration, the International Atomic Energy Agency and the World Health Organization emphasize irradiation of food with gamma rays and various laws to prevent imports of crops contaminated with chemical pesticides such as methyl bromide and ethylene oxide.

He continued, saying that these strict laws have created obstacles to the country's exports of horticultural, agricultural, food and medical crops, so the existence of this center would provide great support to exporters to send their products in accordance with standard standards to other countries.

14th July 2020

The Iranian judiciary announced on Tuesday the execution of a former defense ministry employee after he was convicted of "espionage" for US intelligence, according to local news agencies.

Judicial spokesman Ghulam Hussein Ismaili said that Reza Asgari, a former Defense Ministry employee, "sold information about the Iranian missile program to the CIA, and he was executed last week."

The Iranian judiciary faces charges of unfair trials, as it uses charges such as spying for the United States or other countries to carry out executions. Iran is one of the world's most issued and executed death sentences annually.

And Saturday, the attorneys of three Iranians who participated in last November's protests confirmed the Supreme Court's decision to uphold the death sentences of Amir Hussain Muradi, Muhammad Rajabi and Saeed Tamjidi.

Moradi's lawyer, Babak Pak Nia, said that the court upheld the death sentence imposed on his client, alongside Rajabi and Majdi.

The three youth trials were conducted under the supervision of Judge Abu al-Qasim Salwati, who is on the US sanctions lists for human rights violations, and unfair trials in and in service of the Iranian regime's political agendas.

Ani sees the Richard Phnom Fire "divine punishment": difficult days awaiting Washington and Israel

doc-p-660409-637136550369829092.jpeg

14th July, 2020

The commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps, Gen. Ismail Qai Ani, said that very difficult days await the United States and Israel.

The statements of the commander of the Quds Force commented on a fire that broke out in an American aircraft carrier a few days ago at the San Diego base, which injured dozens of American naval forces.

And the Iranian Student News Agency "ISNA" quoted General Qa Ani as saying today, Tuesday, "What happened to the American aircraft carrier is the result of behavior and crimes committed by the American administration, and they fell in divine wrath and punishment."

The Iranian general demanded that the US leaders "not charge anyone against what happened to their aircraft carrier"; Noting that "the fire is the result of the fire they set on fire." "There are very difficult and difficult days waiting for the United States and the Zionist entity, the difficult days have not come yet," said Qa Ani, who assumed command of the Jerusalem Corps instead of Qasim Soleimani, who was assassinated by Washington in early January in Iraq.

He added: "The truth is that the American army is exhausted and its military equipment turned into worn out iron parts, and the aircraft carrier incident is a divine punishment for the American forces that was carried out by American elements as well."

It is noteworthy that the carrier entered service in 1998 and participated in the war of the occupation of Iraq in 2003 and the South Korean tsunami and some Hollywood films, and she has a distinguished reputation and many titles. Initial reports stated that the explosion in the amphibious assault ship Phnom Richard LHD-6 was the result of intense pressure in the engine compartment due to the high temperature, which eventually led to the explosion.

Trump sends a message to Iran in Persian

social-media1.jpg

15th July, 2020

US President Donald Trump, on Wednesday, described Iran's decision to carry out the death sentence of 3 citizens for their participation in last November's unfortunate demonstrations.

"Three people have been sentenced to death in Iran for participating in the protests. They are expected to be executed at any moment. The execution of these three people sends an unfortunate message to the world and should not be done," Trump said in a tweet written in Persian.

On Tuesday, a court in Iran confirmed the death sentences of three people who participated in the bloody demonstrations in November, which broke out against the backdrop of raising fuel prices, according to the judicial authority.

The demonstrations erupted on November 15, after announcing the increase in gasoline prices more than twice overnight, which aggravated economic difficulties in the country subject to sanctions.

The demonstrations erupted in a number of cities before they spread to a hundred cities and towns throughout the Islamic Republic.

Gas stations were burned, police stations were attacked and shops looted before the security forces intervened amid an almost complete internet blackout.

American forces withdraw from 5 bases in Afghanistan

17:32 - 07/14/2020

Zalmay Khalilzad, the US special envoy to Afghanistan, said on Tuesday that American forces withdrew from five military bases in Afghanistan, as part of the implementation of an agreement reached last February between the hardline Taliban and the United States. Thus, the number of American forces stationed in the country was reduced.

Khalilzad indicated that 135 days have passed since the aforementioned agreement was signed, and this, as he put it, is a "pivotal stage." Under this agreement, the United States and the coalition should have during this period reduced the number of their forces in Afghanistan to 8.6 thousand people. The full withdrawal of the forces, according to this document, must take place within 14 months of the date of signature.

Khalilzad said in a statement on Twitter: “The United States has worked hard to fulfill the obligations of the first phase that were pledged under the agreement, including reducing the number of its forces stationed in Afghanistan and withdrawing from five bases. In turn, NATO reduced its troop numbers proportionately.

In turn, a US official, who requested anonymity, told "Tolo News", which is an Afghan television station, that the mentioned bases are located in the provinces of Helmand, Uruzgan, Paktika and Laghman.

The commander of US forces in the region: We will continue our presence in Iraq in smaller numbers

13:15 - 07/16/2020

The commander of the American forces in the Middle East, General Kenneth Mackenzie, stated that the United States can continue what has been called the pressure on ISIS and the building of military capabilities in Iraq with a smaller number of American forces in the country.

"We can accomplish the mission with a smaller number of American forces in Iraq, and will be reduced in close consultation with everyone, " McKinsey said in an exclusive interview with Voice of America and his translation of "The Information".

According to the channel, "McKenzie has refused to discuss or appoint a specific number of troops while there are now between 5,000 and 6,000 US military personnel in Iraq." On the other hand, a senior US military official said that "more details about possible reduction plans for the American force in Iraq can be revealed after the US-Iraqi dialogue scheduled later this month" whether the US and Iraq representatives will meet in Washington or hold virtual talks. The matter remains unclear, due to concerns about the possible spread of corona virus.

Mackenzie described the current Iraqi government headed by Al-Kazemi as "very aggressive and beneficial" in its attempt to limit attacks on US bases, an issue that previously caused "friction between the two countries"as he put it. "Because of that, we have seen fewer attacks on US bases than we would have seen over the past few weeks," he claimed.

Results showed late on Tuesday that the first stage of the American vaccine trials witnessed the production of antibodies against "Covid-19" disease caused by infection of the new corona virus, in the participants, without the occurrence of serious side effects.

The American pharmaceutical company Moderna is producing the new vaccine, "MRNA-1273", in partnership with the United States government.

The vaccine was injected into the bodies of 45 participants, in the age group 18-55, beginning last March. Most participants received two doses, and some more.

The US National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases said the system stimulated "elevated levels of neutral antibody activity", higher than the median values in samples from those recovered from "Covid-19". Last April, the first stage was expanded to include adults over 55, and the results of a possible vaccine trial have not yet been announced.

Under the auspices of Moderna, the second stage clinical trials began in early June, and the vaccine is scheduled to be tested on 30,000 participants in the third, final stage, later this month.

Our resource said the potential vaccine was "generally safe, and good, and no serious adverse effects have been reported until today 57," adding that it was generally temporary, and was between mild and moderate.

Iranian Foreign Ministry: There is no alternative to the nuclear agreement and its members must ensure balance in carrying out its pledges

15th July, 2020

Today, Wednesday, the Iranian Foreign Ministry called on all member states that signed the nuclear agreement to maintain its contents and implement it in full.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry made the remarks on the fifth anniversary of the nuclear agreement, saying that "there is no alternative to the nuclear agreement and its member states must ensure balance in the implementation of its obligations." The Iranian Foreign Ministry thanked Russia and China for their stance because of their constant efforts to maintain the nuclear agreement, stressing that it "hopes that this cooperation will continue between all countries."

In the same vein, Iranian Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif, tweeted yesterday, on the occasion of the passage marking the 5th anniversary of the signing of the nuclear agreement, which he described as the biggest diplomatic achievement in the last decade, directing criticism again to the Trump government for its illegal measures before this agreement.

Iran and the Group of Five plus One signed a 2015 agreement limiting the development of its nuclear program, but President Trump announced withdrawal from the agreement. Under the agreement that Iran signed with world powers and agreed to place restrictions on its nuclear program in exchange for the lifting of sanctions, the United Nations' arms embargo on Iran was due to expire in October. The United States, which withdrew from the agreement in 2018, says it wants to extend the ban.

The South American Command said in a statement: "Today, the American destroyer Pinkney (DJG 91) equipped with guided missiles, defied the excessive claim to sovereignty in international waters during a successful operation of freedom of navigation in the Caribbean Sea, according to Agence France-Presse."

The US Navy added that "the warship operates in international waters, more than 12 miles off the coast, in accordance with international law, claiming that" the illegal Maduro regime demands excessive sovereignty over these international waters that extend three miles after 12 miles of Territorial waters, a claim that does not comply with international law.”

Admiral Craig Fuller, commander of the Southern Command, said: "We will exercise our legal right to sail freely in international waters without bowing to illegal demands." Noting that the destroyer Beckney is in addition to other ships of the Navy, in the Caribbean to conduct operations to combat drug trafficking.
