Deputy reveals a border outlet in southern Iraq under US control

 July 13, 2020 38 Views

Conscious / Baghdad / M.A.

The representative of Basra Governorate, Badr Al-Ziyadi, revealed, today, Monday, the existence of an Iraqi border port under the control of the United States of America and not under the authority of the Iraqi state.

Al-Ziyadi stated in a statement conveyed by the  (Iraqi Media News Agency / conscious) reporter that “all border ports in Basra are under state control, with the exception of the Greshan outlet with the Kuwaiti side, and this port is not controlled and subject to the control of the United States represented by the international alliance and goods are entered without inspection or control The Iraqi side has no right to inspect or open the goods. ”

"Also, containers belonging to the international coalition enter through the port and do not open, and the Iraqi protection forces have no role other than opening and closing the gates when entering and exiting the containers and we call on the prime minister to have a position on this port."

He pointed out that "the local Basra government does not obtain any money from the outlets and is not allowed to administer them because the linking of the outlets is in the hands of the prime minister."

He pointed out that "the former Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi sent forces to maintain the ports in Basra, and high imports were achieved, but later they were left without protection."

Al-Ziyadi stressed that all Iraqi ports should be maintained and that the matter not be limited to certain governorates, also calling for changing employees who hold the ports because many of them have experience in smuggling in technical ways to prevent their imports going to the state.

Oh I wouldn't be surprised that this is a true article but this Iranian puppet didn't reveal all the facts about this border crossing.

Anybody on here think the USA military is gonna let the Iranian stooges at the border inspect every vehicle that our military crosses into Iraq from Kuwait? The military has to have somewhere the convoys can come an go into country. He's probably 100% correct on the fact that the USA doesn't pay any tax or levy for each vehicle crossing either...
