Deputy reveals ongoing conflict over the management of the Central Bank, Amanat Baghdad and the Investment Authority

A member of the parliamentary integrity committee Alia Nassif, on Friday, revealed a conflict between the political blocs currently taking place on the administration of the Central Bank and the Secretariat of Baghdad and bodies of integrity, investment and others, as well as special degrees, pointing out that the last parliamentary bloc was formed, referring to the bloc "Iraqis" headed by Ammar al-Hakim, is to support the government of Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi and the return is to get positions in independent bodies and special degrees.

 

"A parliamentary bloc was recently formed with a deal that includes the support of Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi in parliament for the positions of independent bodies and special degrees," Nassif told Al-Akhbari, in a clear reference to the Iraqi bloc.

 

"The prime minister is currently in real trouble as the last bloc announced has reached Al-Kadhimi with his support, with a dedicated share of the positions of agents, general managers and others," nassif said.

 

"The party is trying to divide everything," she said, adding that "there is a conflict over independent bodies, including the central bank administration, the Integrity Commission, the Investment Authority, the Secretariat of Baghdad and others."

 

"I am with the electoral entitlement that requires the distribution of ministries, but the administrative apparatus cannot be distributed and dismantled, and the number of smallest jobs reaches the service factor between the parties and they are changed in the light of quotas," she said.

 

"Al-Kadhimi is brave, but he has indulged in party demands and is in line with her demands," she said.
