Now don’t be messing with my man Willie.  He’s a great dude.

Thanks for posting. Always like listening to him play.  Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain.

I just had to post some decent music after that last video. And redirect your attention off the sex thing, LOL

I like my music loud to darling. I can't get this song out of my head now. I guess I'll just listen to it again LOL

And yes Pitcher, we all got to let loose sometime otherwise life's too boring.

I saw Waylon in Lukenbach in 1975. It’s a small town 90 miles west of Austin TX.  Willie, Waylon, Jerry Jeff Walker and many more were hanging out in Texas around that time because they were tired of Nashville.  They started a movement that they called Progressive Country.  Austin back in those days was a smallish University town with a lot of great live music venues.  We had everything from Blues, to Rock N Roll, and Progressive Country.

I always liked the old continental club there on Congress! That is where I first met the great JR. Brown, he and Steve Lane his bass played there every Sunday night! That place had it going on! That was in my Tonkin days! That’s what I loved about the old Continental Club ,All kinds of music!  I could really get those tea sips stirred up! I m lucky to have had such a great time in Texas! I must admit the Germans in Fredericksburg didn’t really know what to think when all of us ole Parker County cowboys hit that town! No more German beer for us, they would say! They didn’t make enough profit for the customers we ran off! 🤠

Actually I did (toke) Friday...it's an occasional indulgence. Sitting outside by a fire (to keep the skeeters at bay), contemplating the possibility of multiple parallel dimensions....how the trees looked like giant stalks of broccoli...ya know just the run of the mill kind of thing.

Yep, it was good stuff.  LOL

I also emailed Thugs through this site...it was nearly 3 am...luckily after I hit "send" it let me know he dosen't recieve emails.

《whew)  dodged a bullet there...god only knows the ramblings that would have been permanently documented!!

Artitech, did you ever go to Thredgills or the Broken Spoke.  There was another honky tonk way out on Bee Caves I used to go to.  Then I met Clifford Antone and started going there a lot.  Mother Earth,  Armadillo World Headquaters.   I worked in the medical tent at a few Willie Nelson 4th of July Picnics.  That was a miniature version of Wood Stock.  Great times in Austin.

Yes I have hit the broken spike!!! I never was at Thredgils!! Back in 2008 when Hurricane Ike hit Beaumont! I powered up Antones one night for the great Jimmy and David Lee Kiaser. The police came wondering how they had power! I pull my generator of Lamar University for a big Saturday night party! I guess someone didn’t interpret Texan I used! I was not toking!!! Never used that stuff! Tonkin is short for Honky Tonking . For all you yanks that’s another word for bar hopping! I don’t go to bars no more! JMHO 🤠
