During the meeting, according to a statement by Barzani's office, the UN envoy reiterated her support to the continued peaceful dialogue between the Kurdistan Region and Iraq to resolve their disputes. Both discussed the political and security situation in Iraq, including ongoing efforts to resolve disputes between Erbil and Baghdad. During the exchange, Prime Minister Barzani stated that the shared goal must be agreement on the basis of the constitution.
