Shafak News / On Saturday, the Kurdistan Region Presidency sent a congratulation to the United States of America on the occasion of Independence Day.

The Presidency said in a statement on Twitter today that on behalf of the people of the Kurdistan Region, we wish the United States a happy Independence Day.

The presidency expressed its aspiration to strengthen bilateral relations and company between the region and America.

American Independence Day, popularly known as the Fourth of July, is a federal holiday in the United States of America on the occasion of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, declaring its independence from Great Britain.

Independence Day is usually associated with marches, fireworks, barbecues, carnivals, exhibitions, excursions, concerts, baseball matches, and even family reunions. As well as political speeches, celebrations, and other public and private events to celebrate the history, government, and traditions of the United States.
