Actually, I remember more of the turbulent 60's because we lived in Maryland (about 20 minutes out of Washington, D.C. ) AND my dad was a cop in Maryland during the 60's!!!  Nuff said.....

Oh yeah he did! And he LOVED to tell them!.  He and mom left West Virginia in 1960, to get away from the coal mines.  In 1972 we moved to NC after he had to take a disability retirement. But he LOVED being a cop.

 

He passed away in 1997. At age 59.

If you remembered that then you didn’t live the 60’s &70’s like the rest of us.. Those years from 1968- 76 were my dark  years.  

I don’t remember much except,  well, nope it’s all fuzzy.  😆 

AKA just "Starship" from the 80's
