Baghdad / news

Political analyst Mujahid al-Ta’i believes that former Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki carried out Iran's sectarian plan in Iraq when he began to topple influential Sunni figures and hand over Sunni cities to the ISIS terrorist organization.

Al-Tai said in a tweet on "Twitter" that "Iran's sectarian plan to crush the Sunni community with Maliki's implementation started to topple influential Sunni figures and remove them from the scene, after which the cities were handed over to ISIS."

He added that "Al-Maliki played important roles in paving the way and removing obstacles or ISIS control of society in the western and northern provinces."
