Masroor Barzani: Willing to visit Baghdad whenever it shows readiness to resolve differences
The President of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masroor Barzani, expressed on Monday his readiness to visit Baghdad whenever the capital expresses its willingness to solve the differences.

A statement by Barzani's office stated that, "Today, the British Prime Minister received Stephen Hickey, the British ambassador to Iraq, and during the meeting, they discussed ways to strengthen relations between the Kurdistan Region and the United Kingdom, and a mechanism for solving the outstanding problems between Erbil and Baghdad was discussed."

The statement quoted Barzani as saying, "We support Mustafa Al-Kazemi's government with a view to resolving all outstanding problems under the constitution."

And the British ambassador to Iraq expressed "the UK's readiness to assist the Kurdistan Regional Government and the federal government to bring them closer in order to resolve outstanding problems based on the constitution."

He explained that "Iraq and the Kurdistan region are friends and allies of the United Kingdom, and we want to help them solve their differences, especially at this difficult time."
