Direct: The Iraqi Council of Ministers announced that a draft law was ratified to ratify an agreement to avoid double taxation and prevent financial evasion, with regard to taxes on income and capital between the government of the Republic of Iraq and the government of the State of Kuwait.

According to the statement of the Information Office of the Council of Ministers, today, Tuesday, this was done by granting a subsequent license for the Director General of the General Authority for Taxes to sign an agency on a draft agreement to avoid double taxation and prevent financial evasion, with regard to taxes on income and capital between the government of the Republic of Iraq and the government of the State of Kuwait in the initials According to the provisions of Article (6) of the Law of Treaties No. (35) of 2015.

The media office of the Prime Minister stated that the Council of Ministers held its regular session, headed by Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi, which was devoted to discussing a number of issues and topics on its agenda.

The Cabinet agreed to re-prioritize spending items, in line with the financial and economic reform adopted by the Iraqi government, whose first package includes the salaries of senior state employees, double salaries, the treatment of imaginary employees, the pension salaries of the Rafha detainees and the salaries of employees of the dissolved entities of the previous system of pensions According to the retirement law and within the minimum pensions.

During the session, the Minister of Finance presented a detailed report on the current financial situation and the proposed financial and economic reforms.

The Minister of Health also gave a presentation on the Ministry's current and future actions regarding the Corona pandemic, securing the supplies needed for hospitals, strengthening the capacity of rapid screening for early detection of injuries, and emphasizing measures taken to avoid transmission of the disease.
