Shafaq News / The Iraqi Council of Representatives announced, on Thursday, that its President, Muhammad Al-Halbousi, has received the names of the candidates in the cabinet cabinet for the vacant bags.

There was no mention of a council statement received by Shafaq News about the nature of those names or ministries

It is noteworthy that 7 ministries in the government of Mustafa Al-Kazemi are still vacant (oil, foreign affairs, justice, trade, agriculture, immigration, the displaced and culture).

On Tuesday (May 12), Al-Kazemi issued bureau orders, which include assigning current ministers the vacant bags.

Among these orders is to assign the Minister of Education the functions of the Minister of Justice and the Minister of Finance as the Minister of Oil and the Minister of Youth and Sports as the Minister of Culture and the Minister of Education as the Minister of Trade and the Minister of Transport as the Minister of Immigration and Displacement.

The Iraqi parliament approved a new government headed by Al-Kazemi, after six months without a government and a difficult labor, as he rejected two commissioners before Al-Kazemi, namely Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi and Adnan Al-Zorfi, because no consensus was obtained by the political forces.

The vote on the oil and foreign portfolios was postponed after the parties failed to agree on candidates. The deputies rejected the new prime minister's candidates for the Justice, Agriculture and Trade bags.
