The only Charlie Ward I know of was a Heisman trophy winner back in the 90s. however I will say this gentlemen did mention the GOI must clean up their house and sure enough a week or so later we see a completely new cabinet or at least many new members out of nowhere. So there might be something going on and lends this guy some credibility.  Not sure anyone else in dinar world foresaw that happening. I guess we shall see what happens next!

What is also if interest is Japan’s Prime Minister Abe and his entire cabinet recently stepped down.... they’ve already named another Prime Minister and Economiv Adviser Kitao of SBI Japan and also a board member of Ripple. Lots of moving parts to the global economy but things that were not forseen by many, that’s for sure

Central Bank of Iraq (CBI). Mustafa Ghaleb has been named the CBI’s new governor after long service as its head of legal affairs. A nonpartisan figure with a history of resisting political pressure, he will now take the lead on implementing bank reforms and protecting the dollar auction process against interference from Iran, militias, and other corrupt actors.

I thought they were trying to STOP the dollar auctions?
Doesn't that need to be done in order for the RV to take place?    :confused2:

There’s No Need To Conflate The Words ‘Protecting’ The Auction - With ‘Preserving’ The Auction ! ;)

Their First Immediate Need Is To Stop The Hemorrhaging Of Cash Flow To Corruption ! B)

Which Then Doesn’t Preclude Them From Making Additional Further Reforms In The Future...

The New Central Bank Governor: We Set A Plan To Develop The Bank’s Work And Strengthen The Dinar

17th September, 2020

The new Central Bank Governor, Mustafa Mukhaif Al-Kitab, affirmed that he had put in place a "deliberate banking plan" to develop the bank's work, strengthen the national currency and address negatives, while the head of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Faik Zaidan, stressed the need to adhere to banking laws and the anti-money laundering and terrorist financing law.

The media office of the Central Bank said in a statement received by Al-Mustaqilla today, Thursday, that “The Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq, Mustafa Ghaleb Al-Kitab, met with the President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Faik Zaidan.”

The statement quoted the book as saying that "a deliberate banking plan has been developed that will develop the work of the central bank, strengthen the national currency and deal with negatives in cooperation with the courts specialized in joint work with the central bank."

For his part, Zidan said, "The selection of independent personalities from among the affiliates of state institutions to manage these institutions gives an indication of the government's seriousness in pursuing the professional institutional approach in building the state as well as emphasizing the importance of preserving the independence of the Central Bank in accordance with the constitution and the Central Bank of Iraq law."

Zidan stressed, "The need to adhere to banking laws, the law against money laundering and terrorist financing, and the instructions issued pursuant to them, to build a solid banking sector capable of facing financial and economic challenges and providing real opportunities for development."

In the first decision ... the new central bank governor settles a controversial matter

1596640124702.jpeg

22nd September, 2020

The Central Bank of Iraq confirmed, on Tuesday, that it is taking a new mechanism to manage and improve the Iraqi currency, indicating that it decided to use the official signature on the banknote, and not to sign in the name, a matter that previously sparked widespread controversy in the country.

The bank’s media office said in a statement that Shafaq News Agency received a copy of, that “The Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq,   Mustafa Ghaleb, chaired today, Tuesday, a meeting of the currency affairs committee in this bank in the presence of all members.”

The statement quoted Makhif as emphasizing "the importance of following the context of the official signature on the exported currency, and not using the signature with the name that was previously approved by the committee in a previous meeting."

This is his first chilling decision since he was appointed to his post last week.

The new governor indicated that "the committee discussed a number of issues and took a number of decisions that would contribute to raising and improving the level of currency management."

It is noteworthy that the Central Bank of Iraq issued in 2018 a banknote of one thousand five hundred two hundred and fifty dinars, and the name and signature of the governor were added to the design of the currencies.

Specialists have criticized that procedure. The economic expert, Salam Sumaisem, told Shafaq News at the time that the governor of the Central Bank, Ali Al-Alaq Agency, committed a "major violation" by placing his name on the Iraqi currency in its new edition, adding that "changing the signature is not something easy for a central bank governor. This signature is approved in Countries of the world, especially in international banks, which are member states of the International Monetary Fund, "wondering," Is there any currency of a strong country in which a person's name is on it? Is the Iraqi dinar crushed to this degree until it is made in the name of a person?"

Wow, this is telling me that they have every intention to raise the value of the currency.
The importance is straight forward and
addressed.

It is my understanding and maybe Delta can shed light on this,

but, we know they have been printing small notes

(possibly coins) in 2018 and more recently in 2019 and 2020..

They had issue with Alak's name on on of the categories.

Imo The new CBI GOV has been around along time

and would have known about all of this,

thereby, imo they have that issue under control

and we are about to see a big change

and much improvement to the management of the new currency..

imo ~ WOW ~ MM
