Baghdad - Iraq today:

It was surprising and unexpected that the Iraqi Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, took the initiative to deliver the first decisions taken by the Council of Ministers in its first session on his own. That revolves around any upcoming decisions that would have been issued by the government.

These courageous decisions, or the first package that heralds an important start, indicate with no doubt that the new government is determined to build an integrated program and an unprecedented renaissance in the history of Iraqi ministries after 2003.

This step was read as an unprecedented step, and also a good gesture in the non-traditional performance of the new Prime Minister.

Therefore, every televised appearance of Al-Kazemi will carry an expectation of an important mass decision, and governmental good news, after the government of the “absentee” government severed all good news and good news from the people.

Al-Hashemi reveals the scenes of his meeting with Al-Kazemi .. What did he say about the position of prime minister?

2020.05.08 - 17:53

Baghdad - people

On Friday, the security expert and researcher on Iraqi affairs, Hisham Al-Hashemi, spoke about the scenes of his meeting with Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi, stressing that the Ministry of Al-Kazemi has no mission, dye, or foreign agenda .

Al-Hashemi said in a post that “Nass” followed, (May 8, 2020):

Recommendations to the Ministry of Al-Kazemi:

It was not in the mind of any observer of the supporters of the dominant parties, that a politician presents a cabinet at this difficult time, and it is natural that the Ministry of Al-Kazemi met the anticipation and intense apprehension of most of the Iraqi parties, and Al-Kazemi himself felt this feeling, so he declared that his Ministry was a solution and not a Ministry crisis.

Summary of the Ministerial Program; The ministry is patriotic, above all, and it seeks only for the good of Iraq.

- Its mission will be to overcome health, economic, security, social and political challenges with the least possible losses, and to restore order to the legal and constitutional authority until the problem of inequity and equality and the restriction of freedoms are removed.

- The Al-Kazemi Ministry has no mission, dye, or foreign agenda "American or Iranian", especially since the issue of Iraqi sovereignty will be decided through the National Dialogue Window and the Tishreen Youth Parliament in addition to the constitutional constitutional windows.

- The Al-Kazemi Ministry strives to activate the Anti-Corruption Council and establish a special court to follow up on attacks on demonstrators, revive the Iraqi Construction Council and revive agricultural, tourist, commercial and industrial initiatives.

Begins to release the detainees and provide pension salaries for the demonstrators and the handicapped, according to the Iraqi Martyrs Law on Terrorism Martyrs, to suspend the provisions of the existing exceptional laws and to abolish arbitrary restrictions on media and press freedoms.

- It strives with all possible means to realize the aspirations of the Iraqi people as quickly as possible in preparing for fair elections, an equitable electoral law and an independent commission.

With this map, it relieves itself from political demands and does not clash with the demonstrators in a demand of their demands, then it retains the use of power until the time of need because it believes that power must be in the hands of the people and not power in the hands of the corrupt politician.

The dash of the Iraqi street is too much to live in at once, despite the proximity of some active and influential activists in the demonstrations to Al-Kazemi, such as Kazem Al-Sahlani, Abdul Rahman Al-Jabouri and Jassim Al-Halfi .., but this constellation of actors still needs to extend more bridges of trust With the angry street to calm down even if it is conditional.

- In a meeting with Prime Minister Al-Kazemi during the commissioning period, he continued by asking, "Was it correct to leave Iraq without a government and neglect the rights of the people in neglect, making them vulnerable to loss over time?"

We are confronted with a fait accompli that we must be used to, whether satisfied or hated, and could we have been more advanced if there had not been a feasible program today with hardship of economic potential, should there be an official speaking on behalf of the people? ”

But do the present conditions allow him to confront the deep government directly, is not the task of the Al-Kazemi Ministry and the situation similar to the mediator working between the two teams, the “state team and the non-state team”?

Yes, it is a task that is not overlooked. But why did he accept it after all these months when it is one of the most difficult missions?

In another meeting, Al-Kazimi said: “You know that I offered myself and my family a wound and fall. All of this is for the service of my country. I said upon receiving the Presidency of the Council of Ministers statements that you know. One of my actions is detrimental to the interests of Iraq, or an argument against us before God, the people, and history. "

As an observer, I have watched the hesitation of many professionals, intellectuals, and independent thinkers on the Prime Minister, and this is a great sign, which is the joining of independent elites in the government in the sense and opinion and embarrassment of corrupt political parties, and members of the Tishreen Youth Parliament may participate in providing assistance to the government and achieving the demands of fragile groups and revitalizing the role of civil society Notables, unions, federations, lawyers, university students, Iraqi institutes, and school students, and young people took covenants on senior politicians with a commitment to fulfill their promises to develop and provide services, including Al-Kazemi, the Prime Minister.

Al-Fateh leader Mohammed al-Ghabban commented on Saturday about his criticism of his recent request for help from Washington, which drew criticism from some politicians.

Al-Ghabban said in a tweet, followed by "Nass" (May 9, 2020), that "with reference to our last tweet after the passage of the Al-Kazemi government, we say that the constants and variables, such as the tribunals and similar ones, need to be insight, know-how, and awareness of the events not available to the short-sighted and to those who live in the complex of displacing traditional leaders."

The promise of the leader of the Salvation and Development Front, Atheel al-Nujaifi, today, Saturday, that the positions of some political forces will change to preserve their existence.

"

And the head of the Al-Fateh parliamentary bloc, Muhammad al-Ghabban, called earlier today for the United States to support Iraq and not consider the government's passage a victory for it and a loss for its opponents in the country and the region.

Al-Ghabban said in a statement that "People" received a copy of it (May 9, 2020), that "after the Al-Kazemi government was passed in the House of Representatives, and obtained significant international, regional and internal support, we call on the United States not to consider passing the government as a victory and a loss for its opponents in Iraq and the region" Indeed, the Iraqi political forces overcame the interests of Iraq over all other accounts. "

Al-Ghabban added, "Therefore, Washington should demonstrate its interest in Iraq by giving it priority in support and support in this critical circumstance, and assure the Iraqi people of its seriousness in providing assistance to them, and not siding with an Iraqi political party against another party. The American position is at stake today and the Iraqis are watching those who stand Practically with them who are satisfied with making stances and statements. "

He warned against the hegemony of parties over the parliament’s decision .. Al-Nujaifi talks about Al-Kazemi’s chances for the upcoming dialogue with Washington

120619.jpg?watermark=4

Politics 05/2020 12:37 358 Editor: mst

Baghdad today - Baghdad

The leader of the Salvation and Development Front, Atheel al-Nujaifi, on Friday (May 8, 2020), spoke about the chances of Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi in the forthcoming strategic dialogue between Baghdad and Washington.

Atheel Al-Nujaifi said in an interview with (Baghdad Today) that "the strategic dialogue that will take place next June between Baghdad and Washington, will be more positive with Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi, more than what was former Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi."

And the US Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, revealed earlier this month that the United States proposed conducting a dialogue with the Iraqi government in mid-June to discuss all strategic issues with the Iraqi government, including the future of the American military presence.

Al-Nujaifi added, "The success of the dialogue depends on the position of the Iraqi parliament. Parliament must change its position towards the international coalition and Washington. If this changes the matter, the dialogue will be successful."

The leader of the Salvation and Development Front warned: "If the Iraqi parliament insists on its position due to the hegemony of some parties, then the success of the dialogue will be very difficult, and for this Al-Kazemi must persuade the parliament to support the dialogue and not fail it."

And the American "Foreign Policy" magazine published an earlier report in which it talked about the fate of the dialogue between the United States and Iraq regarding strategic and decisive files, noting that the dialogues related to crucial issues will begin in mid-June.

"In mid-June, both the United States and Iraq will initiate a strategic dialogue in which all issues related to their bilateral relationship are supposed to be discussed, and this includes the presence of American forces," the report said.

According to the report, "The upcoming strategic dialogue may provide what can be considered as the last opportunity to reverse this destructive path and save a vital long-term US partnership with Iraq. This opportunity should not be wasted."

The Trump administration is seeking, according to the magazine, to "allocate more than $ 600 million from its annual budget this year to help train and equip Iraqi forces in their ongoing battle against the remnants of ISIS. This comes in the forefront of vital contributions by the US military to counter-terrorism operations in the form of logistical and intelligence support Attribution of combat air.

"The dialogue is a strong impetus for the United States as it prepares for its discussions in June. This momentum will be even stronger if Washington makes clear to Baghdad that its increasing submission to Iranian hegemony may expose Iraq to more American punitive measures, ranging from preventing and freezing the assets of leaders," she said. Senior politicians and air strikes target punishing armed faction leaders and even reach restrictions on Iraq’s ability to sell its oil, as is the case with sanctions on Iran, especially at a time when there is an excessive huge excess in global oil markets amounting to 20 million barrels per day. ”

The Iraqi-American relations witnessed tension after Washington carried out the assassination of the leader of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, General Qassem Soleimani, and the deputy head of the Popular Mobilization Authority, Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, with air strikes at Baghdad International Airport earlier this year, which was followed by the House’s vote to cancel The security agreement and setting a timetable for the withdrawal of US forces from the country.

On January 5, 2020, the House of Representatives voted, during an extraordinary session held after the assassination of the Vice-President of the Popular Mobilization Organization, and the Iranian General Qassem Soleimani, on the exit of all foreign and American forces from Iraq, and the abolition of the role of the international coalition in Iraq, in addition to canceling the agreement Security with the United States of America, by the Iraqi government.

Through military operations or negotiation .. Representatives: Al-Kazemi is able to resolve the issue of restricting weapons to the state

120800.jpg?watermark=4

Politics 05/20 2020 16:01 440 Editor: amm

Baghdad today - Baghdad,

the issue of `` confining weapons '' in the hands of the state is a difficult task for everyone who received the presidency of the Iraqi government since 2003, due to the many political, social and security complications, and today the new Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi faces this file with greater complications, but representatives and analysts expect Al-Kazemi’s success With this thorny file.

Weapon `` loose '' continues to shed blood and critical factors for its restriction,

member of the Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee, MP Abdul Khaleq Al-Azzawi, told (Baghdad today), "The restriction of arms to the state is among the priorities of the methods of the Al-Kazemi government and the Security and Defense Committee strongly supports it in this framework."

He pointed out that "the country is in dire need of an arms embargo, especially since the repercussions of its survival have cast a shadow on the security scene due to the intense conflicts and outlaw gangs."

In the same topic, Al-Azzawi talked about three major important factors that must be available to resolve the battle with the fugitive weapon, namely, "force, decisive action, and time factor."

He pointed out, "The uncontrolled weapon can only be controlled through military operations," noting that some "some social problems in some Iraqi provinces are turning into an armed conflict in which medium and heavy weapons are used, and this is unacceptable."

He continued: "There are clan conflicts in which mortars and shells were used, and this is another negative indicator that reveals the danger of the survival of these weapons in the neighborhoods and villages because they caused bleeding for a lot of blood."

Al-Kazemi is able to carry out the “impossible mission”

member of the Iraqi Forces Alliance, Intisar al-Jubouri, who confirmed, in turn, that “Al-Kazemi put a paragraph restricting weapons in the hands of the state among the priorities of his government program, to ensure that he is able to apply it on the ground.”

In the same subject, member of the Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee, Kata al-Rikabi, affirmed the ability of Prime Minister-designate Mustafa Al-Kazemi to confine arms to the state, as promised during the ministerial curriculum.

Al-Rikabi told (Baghdad Today) that "restricting weapons to the state is a very important issue that must have a wide space in the ministerial curriculum, but rather it should have a special program," noting that it is "a dilemma of dilemmas in Iraq, and everyone sees Weapon how uncontrolled in the Iraqi street, or the operations carried out by some unconventional parties.

He pointed out that "talking about restricting weapons to the state is not intended by the popular crowd. The crowd is an official security force, but there are groups and factions that use weapons outside the control of the state."

Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi announced, at the time of his appointment to be prime minister, that among the paragraphs of the ministerial curriculum he presented to the presidency of the parliament, he would "restrict weapons to the hands of the state, hold early elections after completing the electoral law, and activate the election commission", in addition to a number of paragraphs. That included in the Al-Kazemi Ministerial Platform.

Al-Kazemi had answered a question about his intention to "confine arms to the state," which is a demand adopted by a number of blocs in support of any prime minister in a press statement by saying that "this issue has become one of the pressing priorities that really require real solutions, which is what We will work on it in a sound and serious manner, whether this weapon is in the hands of individuals or clans or in the hands of the armed factions, which believe that this weapon is linked to the foreign military presence in the country, which also needs serious dialogue with it in this regard.
