I bought some years ago on Ebay.  Where can you cash out without a profit?

I would like to do that.  Thanks, Laid Back.

You may have to call a currency dealers, bank to find out.  Or You can take it to Iran.
Hope this help Floridian.

I thought maybe you knew of some bank or dealer that was buying them.  I don't think anyone is.

Take it to Iran?  Fat chance!   😂😂😂

Why do you expect to exchange with no profit?  They are doing what they are doing to add value to the toman

Southbeach I think LB was being very generous when he said cash in with no profit. I would suggest the people who bought this toman to look at how it has bottomed this year compared to when they bought it an figure if its worth the gas driving to an exchange store. You really don’t think them deleting all these zeros is adding value to it, do you?
The reason Iran is deleting zeros is because it’s nearly worthless an their leadership knows it’s in trouble. It was a gamble the folks made an didn’t pay off, time to forget about Iran an move on....

I'm thinking they lopped the Rial and it will soon be used no more, and like LB said, it would have to be taken to Iran to trade it for Toman.

I guess I'll just hang on to it and see how things go.  Probably a total loss.

You’re correct.!

-economic sanctions

-hyperinflation

-changing the name from rial to toman

Three indicators of a LOP

Same as Venezuela, also with economic sanctions from the US and EU they changed the name from Bolivar to Bolivar fuerte and you can see the currency as trash on the streets because it has no value. Venezuelan are now using the dollar.

You all forget trumps famous comments during second debate Iran. Iran will be strong as Iraq! Current will be same. Iran will not rename. It’s been called this for years. Hold until the end. There true value is weighted against gold be law! Puts them at over $2

screwball you absolutely correct my man, I live in Vegas an believe as you do about being in to win. I think when the casinos open back up I’ll take my $100.00 that I was gonna buy toman with an put it all on Black...at least that’s a 50/50 odds of winning which I’m thinking is better odds than the toman making a comeback in my lifetime...good luck to you.

Honestly I wish you good luck in your investment 🤞🏼

Thanks it’s all lucky..invested in dogecoin, bitcoin and theta coin...invested in Indonesia currency, Rial and dinar...and stocks so far two investment in coins have paid off and covered more than my investment in currency..loosing is an investment I am comfortable with but generally rials is my biggest gamble and even then it will just come down to one thing...where to cash out

After reading some of your comments, I remember Kim Clement say that “there would be a grave (as in great) surrender” And that “he shall bring it forth to his people in Iran, his Christian people in Iraq and Palestine, yes Palestine..” Could he be referring to Iran’s great surrender being they join the central banking system and their currency is reset along with Iraq? “A break in the financial system that begins in the Middle East!”?

Before, I was thinking the Iranian Rial is a lop, but maybe it won’t be and we should hold onto it and see what happens, if this is what Kim May have meant..
