I can't wait for this RV to happen. Going back to Ft. Worth is going to be at the top of my list of places to go. In fact, Texas in general.  Only been once, back in August 2008. Fell in love with TX,  We went to the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, and also had to go to Stephenville.

As for Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi, whom we objected to is a consensual option from abroad and came from outside and not a field man."

Al-Halbousi continued, "Al-Kazimi's tools for success are more and his international relations are good, and it is possible that we can help us in the economic crisis that the country is going through."

We went because our daughter had been accepted at Tarleton State University. She changed her mind about going to school there at the last minute. We had already planned the trip, so we just turned it into a vacation.   Had a great time.  Can't wait to go back.

I also have some good "internet friends", I've made over the years, and want to be able to meet them in person. These are people I've known since the early 2000's, before dinar.  We will have to meet when/if this thing ever happens. My hubby retired last year, and we want to travel.

Iraqi bloggers launch an attack on Shabandar for forging a clear message in the name of the US embassy whose purpose is clear

Baghdad - Iraq today:

A number of activists and bloggers launched a violent attack on the well-known politician Izzat Shabandar, accusing him of falsifying a message bearing the name of the American embassy in Baghdad, presumably directed at the Shiite forces, and in which it threatened them with severe penalties if Moab did not vote for the Kazemi government tomorrow and pass it in the parliament session, which is a hint It is clear to provoke the Iraqi street because of the sensitivity the street holds against the American embassy in particular, and the American presence in general, which is a chord that the Shabandar is trying to play on.

Blogger Walid Al-Tai, one of those angry bloggers, wrote a Tweet on Twitter that made fun of the (weak) English language in which this letter was written, accusing him of trying to irritate the street.

As the Nashid Muhammad Al-Nasiri (Post) wrote on Facebook, he addresses the Shabandar saying:

(When did Izzat Al-Shabandar be ashamed and embarrassed of his gray hair, and when did he stop producing scandals and committing shameful things, even though he was seventy years old) ?!

The sources close to the meeting stated that the Sunni and Kurdish blocs formally informed Al-Kazemi to attend the session on Tuesday and pass the cabin, after the agreement that was concluded with Haji Hadi al-Amiri, al-Sabd Muqtada al-Sadr, al-Sayyid, Ammar al-Hakim, and Haider al-Abadi

The consensus came after changing the names that were the object of the blocs, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the ambassador and former deputy minister Nizar al-Khairallah were chosen as the Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Al-Kazemi government and the choice of Juma Anad as Minister of Defense and Othman al-Ghanmi as Minister of Interior

Member of the House of Representatives for the Hussein Arab will movement confirmed today, Monday, that the session of granting confidence to Mustafa Al-Kazemi Ministerial Cabinet will be held in the large hall for health protection.

Arab said in a press statement, "The venue of the session will be in the conference hall within Parliament, due to its large size and there will be a distance between each deputy and another for health protection."

Arabs seemed comfortable with the passing of the government with "the continuation of some problems, especially some ministries, whether in terms of being from the share of this or that party, or objecting to the personalities nominated for it," he said, "it is likely that these differences will be resolved because they are not completely fundamental."

On Monday, al-Amiri's al-Fatah coalition pledged passing the cabinet to Prime Minister-designate Mustafa al-Kazemi by changing some candidates.

In a statement to the official agency, seen by Nass (May 4, 2020), the coalition’s deputy, Sanaa al-Musawi, said that “some of the names nominated in the cabinet of Al-Kazemi have suspicions and accusations of external links,” stressing that “the political blocs will not pass the ministerial cabinet unless Some candidates are changed. "

Moussawi stressed "the need to choose candidates who are able to withstand the crises the country is going through."

The Sayeron bloc had revealed the political blocs' objection to some of the names nominated in the cabinet, presented by Prime Minister-designate Mustafa al-Kazimi.

The MP, from the Saeron Burhan al-Maamouri Coalition, told the official agency, and its follower, "NAS" (May 4, 2020), "The political blocs objected to some of the names nominated for not conforming to the established criteria."

He added that "the criteria agreed upon in the nomination mechanism include competence, independence, impartiality and acceptability," explaining that "the bloc of Sairon has given Al-Kazemi the freedom to choose his cabinet according to the specified criteria."

He pointed out that "the political blocs stressed the importance of the taxpayer sending a full cabinet to the House of Representatives."

On Monday, the leader of the State of Law coalition, Nuri al-Maliki, reiterated his coalition's position not to vote on the cabinet minister Al-Kazemi’s ministerial assignment.

Al-Maliki said in a press statement followed by "Nass" (4 May 2020) that "the political project for the rule of law confirms the establishment of a strong and qualified government to assume historical responsibility in front of the Iraqi people and firmly and willingly to address the serious challenges facing our country in various fields."

He pointed out that "our decision not to vote for the government never means that a coalition of the rule of law will not deal positively with any positions and decisions that serve the supreme interests of the Iraqi people, provided that it does not prevent at the same time that the coalition of the state of law declares its opposition to any positions and measures that contradict the national interest and the sovereignty and independence of Iraq." .

On Sunday, the State of Law Coalition denied its decision to boycott the cabinet of Prime Minister-designate Mustafa Al-Kazemi and the voting session on it in the portfolio of the Ministry of Interior.

The leader of the coalition, Hassan al-Sunaid, said in a statement, "People" received a copy of it, (May 3, 2020). Interior Ministry bag. "

Al-Sunaid confirmed that "the rule of law coalition objected to the mechanism of forming the ministry and its nominations," pointing out that "the coalition did not present any candidate for any ministerial portfolio during the negotiations."

The State of Law coalition headed by Nuri al-Maliki confirmed on Tuesday that his return from his previous position of not supporting the government of Prime Minister-designate Mustafa al-Kazimi depends on the latter's response in forming the government according to correct, fair, efficient and non-controversial choices.

The representative of the coalition, Kazi al-Rikabi, said in statements that she followed / the information: “The state of law announced its withdrawal from granting confidence to the government due to the lack of commitment of the commissioner to the criteria agreed upon in the dialogues with him. A source reveals the number of parliamentarians present in Baghdad before the "session of confidence"

kazme-23455.jpg

4th May, 2020

On Monday, a parliamentary source revealed that more than 200 lawmakers were present in Baghdad, as the voting session for granting confidence to the Prime Minister-designate Mustafa Al-Kazemi approached

The source said to Shafak News that "the number of deputies currently in Baghdad exceeds 200 deputies (out of 329)," noting that "members of parliament from the Kurdistan Region, Basra Governorate and other provinces arrived this evening to Baghdad Airport

He added that "the attendance of the deputies to Baghdad came after the invitation of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Muhammad Al-Halbousi, members of Parliament to attend, in preparation for holding a session of granting confidence to the government of Prime Minister-designate Mustafa Al-Kazemi

The Iraqi Council of Representatives announced Monday that it will hold the special session to consider giving confidence to the Al-Kazemi government next Wednesday evening

For the government to obtain the confidence of Parliament, an absolute majority (50 percent + 1) is required for the number of members present (not the total number) to grant confidence

The constitutional deadline before Al-Kazemi ends on May 9th, amid the expansion of the circle of opponents to pass his government in the past few days, after he was initially supported by the vast majority of political blocs

In the event that Al-Kazemi obtains confidence from the parliament, the new government will succeed the government of Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi, who resigned in early December 2019 under pressure from popular protests calling for the departure and accountability of the political class accused of corruption and waste of state funds
