US President Donald Trump re-posted 17 tweets on his Twitter account from other pages that talked about his nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize, after the UAE and Israel reached the normalization agreement.
Trump posted on his website at least 17 tweets in just 30 minutes and commented on two of them by saying "Thank you."
Christian Tebring Jedi, a deputy in the Norwegian parliament for the right-wing Progress Party, sent a letter to the Norwegian Nobel Prize Committee requesting that Trump be registered among the candidates for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2021.
The parliamentarian referred to the pivotal role played by the Trump administration in efforts to establish relations between Israel and the UAE, Stressing that "the agreement concluded between Tel Aviv and Abu Dhabi may represent a turning point thanks to which the Middle East will become an area for cooperation and prosperity," especially since other regional countries are expected to follow the example of the UAE.
Tebring Jedi had nominated Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize as well in 2019, and he attributed this to the US President's diplomatic efforts to reduce tension with North Korea.
And the US President had previously considered, in a statement he made in 2019, that he could be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize "for many things if presented from honest positions."
But he stressed that the committee concerned with presenting this award does not do so in a fair way, recalling the example of his predecessor, former US President Barack Obama, saying that "it is not clear for what reason he obtained it."

US President Donald Trump has informed Congress to extend the national emergency in the United States due to a "risk of foreign interference" in the US presidential elections, which will be held in November.

It was mentioned in the communication that published it White HouseToday, Thursday, that the state of emergency that was declared on September 12, 2018 will remain in place after September 12, 2020 for another year.

Trump indicated, however, that there was no evidence of any foreign country influencing the election results or the vote counting process.

He warned that the recent proliferation of digital devices and internet technologies had led to the emergence of tangible vulnerabilities and increased "the risk of foreign interference."

He stressed that the ability of external parties to interfere in the elections, spread propaganda and disinformation and penetrate the electoral infrastructure "still poses a great threat to the national security and foreign policy of the United States."
