4-30-2020  ***  Dinar Guru News FLASH ***  The CBI is officially reporting a change in the official market rate for the dinar!  This could be significant.  As you know, after a few weeks hiatus, the CBI began to update the dinar market rate this week.  It's been out of compliance with the IMF 2% rule on these updates.  Today's CBI market rate update is for April 27th - it's showing a 100 point change to 1124.  This is a STRONGER rate than the official CBI rate of 1190(remember we want these numbers to go down NOT up).  We're not sure if this is this a simple typo mistake or if this is real.  If it's real, it's a significant - the market rate is determined by demand in the Iraqi market and this shows demand is growing for the dinar. Stay tuned as the gurus chime in on this interesting news.  The latest guru posts will continue below...  [Note: you can always see the latest CBI official rate and market rate in the left column of this page.]

Foreign currency markets in Iraq recorded, today, Thursday, a decrease in the exchange rate of the US dollar against the Iraqi dinar.

 

The selling and buying prices of the dollar in banking companies and offices came as follows:

The selling price of one dollar is 1245 dinars, or 124 thousand and 500 dinars per hundred dollars.

The purchase price of the dollar is 1235 dinars, or 123 thousand and 500 dinars per hundred dollars.
Foreign currency, gold and crude oil prices until the preparation of this news:
The 
euro The global price: 100 euros = 108.54
sterling dollars The global price: 100 pounds = 124.70
Turkish lira The global price: 100 dollars = 696,55 Turkish lira
The 
price of an ounce of gold globally = 1719.32 dollars
Per barrel of crude oil Brent = 25.77 dollars
Per barrel of US crude oil = 16.70 dollars.

Buying and selling prices in banking shops

The sale price of the dollar = 124.750 dinars

The purchase price of the dollar = 122.750 dinars
