Prime Minister-designate Mustafa Al-Kazimi revealed today, Wednesday, the program of his next government regarding the files before him in the next few days, while calling on public opinion, press circles and civil society organizations to support him, he stressed the need to establish balanced relations with all.

Adnan Al-Sarraj, head of the Iraqi Center for Media Development, said that Al-Kazemi “seemed confident and clear while reviewing his view of the developments of events since the overthrow of the totalitarian regime in April 2013, and reviewed Iraq’s need for a government to solve worsening crises and prepare for early elections.”

He added that the Prime Minister-designate "expressed in a limited meeting with a group of writers and media professionals yesterday his full confidence in his ability to choose the members of his government," noting that he "continues to complete its final touches with his ongoing consultations with the political blocs to announce it soon, and is fully convinced that his cabinet will gain confidence In the House of Representatives soon. ”

Al-Kazemi called “the political blocs to look at things in a spirit of cooperation with him to approve the names of his cabinet cabinet as soon as possible, so that the government begins the deliberate work of pressing priorities, as long as his government has a goal set by him in the political realities in preparing for the early elections,” stressing that he “will work with all his effort and energy to implement The main urgent tasks, accomplishing them as quickly as possible and ensuring that fair elections are held in accordance with professional and legal standards.

Al-Kazimi confirmed, according to Al-Sarraj leaks, that his government will make all the required efforts to face the new and growing challenges facing the world and Iraq, which were not expected and represented by the challenges facing the Corona virus, and what has become a real threat to all the peoples of the world, and that he personally and members of his ministry will work with the authorities Concerned in the Iraqi state, in the spirit of a harmonious and scientific team far from routine and bureaucracy in formulating government security and health decisions to prevent and treat the final elimination of corona in Iraq.

Regarding the economic crisis, which is represented by a sharp decline in oil prices, fluctuation of prices, and Iraq’s total dependence in its financial budget on oil revenues, he said, “This reality requires us to take strong, wise, objective measures, both economically and financially, while taking care of the citizens’ living conditions, to cross the crisis. ”

Al-Sarraj also quoted Al-Kazemi’s interest in “opening a real national dialogue that would restore the understandings required nationally to address any points disputed by serious and sincere dialogue and to develop appropriate solutions, in a phased approach according to a timetable,” because in fact we have missed during the past years such a serious and necessary dialogue And that the building of state institutions is a sound building that can only be done within the framework of a comprehensive national vision, and that the Iraqi national project must cross the other small ethnic and sectarian identities.

And on the issue of restricting weapons to the urgent state, he pointed out that "searching for real solutions requires working hard and in a proper way, based on our view of the weapon as all weapons that exist, whether in the hands of individuals or clans, or in the hands of armed factions, which believe that their armament is linked to the American military presence." in the country. "This is a point of initiation from which we can start with serious dialogues to address the limitation of arms in the hands of the state, especially as we are serious about ending any aspect of the unjustified American and foreign presence in Iraq."

Al-Kazemi expressed his conviction of the necessity to "respond to the demands of the demonstrators, support their legitimate demands, and hold those who committed any crime against them and the right of the people to express their legitimate demands, and the voice of the protester will be soon, but with him in many of the upcoming national actions," calling for adherence to comprehensive national positions and avoid the accounts of narrow interests And for opinion-makers, writers and media professionals to stand with him, cooperate to correct mistakes, address problems, rationalize decisions, and drive them to success.

Al-Sarraj said that Al-Kazemi answered a question by saying that “what we have come to now from the difficulties of building the state and its crises is not due to the wrong establishment of the political process after 2003, and that the American occupation of the country succeeded in destroying the infrastructure of the Iraqi state according to causes that lacked acceptable reason, and without a process A correct re-establishment, with the extremely poor effect of drafting decisions on the basis of components and their narrow understandings, while the necessity necessitated that matters be formulated in the spirit of one nation and the common interests of all. ”

Al-Kazemi bitterly expressed his feelings about the unjust projective accusations that “I am not with America, nor with Iran, nor any other country, but I am with Iraq and Iraq alone, because he is my country and my country, and it is my responsibility to maintain the honor of belonging to him, and that whoever sells his country to the foreigner is a traitor to the homeland, Therefore, relations with the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran must be normal relations based on the exchange of common interests and respect for the sovereignty of the two countries.

He stressed that he would seek to "prevent Iraq from turning into an arena for settling accounts, and we will have serious, important and central dialogues with the United States of America regarding the nature of its presence in Iraq and the next strategic cooperation. The most important thing that I must deal with firmly is that Iraq should not be an arena for settling accounts and that the Islamic Republic The Iranian country is a neighbor, and we deal with it in good neighborliness and take care of the interests of both countries without interfering in its internal affairs.

Al-Sarraj concluded by saying that Al-Kazemi discussed the relations of Iraq with the Arab and Islamic extensions, stressing “the imperative of meetings, understandings and openness to Arab and Islamic countries according to our common interests, which requires us to work hard, especially in the areas of economic, investment, tourism and security cooperation, because that would reduce our dependence on oil As the only source of national income. ”

Trump's adviser reveals to Shafak News Washington's terms
of support for the Kazemi government

%D8%AA%D8%B1%D8%A7%D9%85%D8%A8.jpg

16th April, 2020

Gabriel Soma, an American professor and member of the advisory board of US President Donald Trump, revealed on Wednesday the conditions of the United States of America in exchange for support for the government of Prime Minister-designate Mustafa Al-Kazemi

Since the overthrow of the former Iraqi regime by US-led international forces in 2003, the Prime Minister of Iraq has been named by consensus between the political blocs with the tacit blessing of the United States and Iran

However, Washington's influence has waned since its withdrawal from Iraq in late 2011 in favor of Iran, which has become the main player on the Iraqi stage due to its close links with the ruling Shiite parties as well as its armed arms in the country

"The American administration has several conditions in exchange for supporting the government of Prime Minister-designate Mustafa Al-Kazemi or any other figure who takes over the prime minister of Iraq," said the advisor, Soma, in a special statement to Shafaq News

He added that "the most prominent conditions of the American administration is the compliance of the Iraqi government with the desire of the Iraqi street, the implementation of the demands of the demonstrators, and the accountability of the parties behind their kidnapping and killing

"The other conditions are for the Al-Kazemi government to start helping the Iraqi people to improve economic conditions and reduce poverty, as well as respecting the sovereignty of Iraq and not allowing Middle Eastern countries to interfere in Iraqi affairs," he said, referring to Iran

Washington dealt a major blow to the Iranian influence by assassinating the Quds Force commander Qassem Soleimani and the leader of the Iraqi popular crowd Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis in an air strike near Baghdad airport in January

Parties close to Iran are also facing massive popular protests since last year. The government of Adel Abdul Mahdi was forced to resign early December, and since then the country has been in a political deadlock

And Trump's adviser pointed out that "the United States is ready to cooperate with the Iraqi government that will be headed by Mustafa Al-Kazemi, and leave them behind if these conditions are met and respond to the demands of the demonstrators

On April 9 this year, President of the Republic, Barham Salih, authorized Al-Kazimi to form the government within 30 days, less than an hour after Prime Minister-designate Adnan al-Zarfi announced his apology for this task

The indications suggest that Al-Kazemi’s mission will be easy in light of the support he received from most of the Shi’ite, Sunni, and Kurdish political blocs
