I really hope that my insigth is wrong but IRAQ starts to look more and more like Liban looked some 30 years ago.

There was a multi parties power sharing until the Esbolas demanded more powers and it degenerated into a civil war where christians were wiped out of the country

The readiness of Al-Kazemi’s government is losing the Shi’ite forces

BAGHDAD - Iraqi Prime Minister-designate Mustafa al-Kazemi confirmed that his government was ready, and negotiations were under way with political blocs to agree to it.

The Prime Minister-designate’s announcement of his cabinet would close all windows to Shi’ite forces to block efforts to form a government or seize any opportunity to back down from his support.

Al-Kazemi stressed that he had taken into account in the process of selecting members of his government the efficiency and hand hygiene in a way that guarantees the priority to fight corruption and revive the exhausted Iraqi economy.

He also pointed out that his primary goal is to keep Iraq away from regional conflicts as well as to avoid the country being an arena for settling scores, in reference to the tension between Iran and the United States.

Al-Kazimi said in a press statement, about a week after his assignment, that the formation of members of his government is ready, and negotiations are under way with the political blocs to agree on them, and then give them confidence in the parliament as soon as possible to work to implement the urgent priority reforms.

It is noteworthy in this context that Al-Kazemi stressed the existence of guarantees for him that parliament would approve his government cabinet as a prerequisite for accepting the assignment.

He stressed that his priorities require opening a real national dialogue between the various Iraqi spectra after the absence of years, with the aim of "establishing a national vision through which we can build state institutions in a sound manner, away from sectarian conflicts."

The Prime Minister-designate also pledged to work towards opening up earnestly to the Arab and Islamic worlds, in accordance with measures of common interests of his country.

Al-Kazemi faces major economic challenges that have deepened into the impact of the collapse in oil prices and the effects of the Coruna outbreak.

The Al-Kazemi government appears to be on an open path to winning the approval of Parliament after it won the support of Sunni and Kurdish political forces, which would be a pressure card on the Shiite parties that might hinder its mission.

And the prime minister-designate seeks to pass his new government as soon as possible to block all outlets in front of the Shiite forces to disrupt his mission, as scenes revolve around the scenes that Al-Kazemi’s candidacy is an attempt to buy time, because the goal of the forces loyal to Iran is to maintain the current resigned government, headed by Adel Abdul Mahdi.

Al-Kazemi expressed his satisfaction with the conduct of the consultations on forming his government, and "his aspiration for the cooperation of all." The announcement came during the reception of Al-Kazemi, the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq, Jenin Hennes Blackshart.

Sources familiar with the internal negotiating atmosphere say that the Prime Minister-designate is heading to choose a government that includes a mixture of candidates from political parties, academic personalities and independent technocrats, while estimates regarding Al-Kazemi’s intentions intersect during the period that follows his confidence between the possibility that he is heading towards escalation against the forces and armed groups loyal to Iran or He chooses to calm down until the Coruna storm passes and recover from the financial crisis caused by the collapse in oil prices.

President Barham Saleh last Thursday mandated Al-Kazimi to form the government after the announcement of former Prime Minister-designate Adnan al-Zarfi, his apology for the mission for "internal and external" reasons, which he did not disclose.

Al-Kazemi is considered the third in charge of forming the government, after Al-Zarfi, and Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi, who withdrew in early March, for his failure to persuade the Sunni and Kurdish component and some Shiite forces to support his government formation.

It will definitely be interesting to see if this RI/RV pops off during June-August. Trump would really get the recognition and the economy would turn right back around. Businesses open back up, new companies created, more cars being sold, people back to work, homes are being bought. Trump back in office for another 4 years because of it. 🧐🧐🧐 we will all find out shortly.
