Thank you for this information, Theseus.

I don't think that's ever happened before.  Not that I know of, anyway.

It has not happened while I have been in this.  You may have seen the 10k notes but not all notes accross multiple dealers.

I really have no idea what the rate will be, but I do think because of long term low oil prices, it is in Iraq's best interest to come in as high as they feel they can maintain.  The higher the value

I'm holding mine until the fat lady sings! Its been 13 + years, so what's a little more time.

As of today xchangeofAmerica has no IQD to sell anyone. This includes circulated and uncirculated, all denoms/

I bought from Xchange of America  on several occasions and was pleased  with their service.

I did see today they had used for sale

Interesting.

I wonder if people are selling it back to them after reading articles that say Iraq wants to cut the exchange rate in half.

Probably people that don't follow the dinar that closely.

15+

So I called ExchangeofAmerica.
They were still out of all Dinar.
I asked the teller if the Dinar had dried up?? She hesitated. I asked her how far out. She said possibly a week.

No response from Safe Dinar.  Multiple tries.

Thank you for choosing Xchange of America. Due to the global effects of the pandemic response, we do not know when borders will reopen and it will become easier to get currency. There is no way for us or anyone to know when this crisis will recede enough to resume normal shipping operations. We appreciate your continued support and patience during these difficult times. FWIW, even Treasury Vault supply is low.

They offered to buy my dinar for $875 per million uncirculated.

Couple months ago they only offered to buy at $775 per million.

Definitely low supply all around.

Purchased my first dinars in 2003 - I will pass them down to my grand-kids and their grand-kids before ever thinking about given them up.

I am buying some good Scotch and by the 3rd song it will sound just great.

When this thing pops I may just have to have a small small taste of Scotch.  It’s in my blood, my grandparents are Scotch-Irish.  I will toast all the survivors who stuck it out, in Hawaii at the big party.  I’ll have my root beer handy and you guys can help me from going nuts.  Hahahahaha

I have consumed all of the bottles of red wine I have set aside for "the event". When this goes downs I plan to remain as "sober as a judge"...at least until my feet are back on the ground!    :peace:
