umbertino
Getting more and more ugly here...... Just minutes ago a car was passing in my street and a megaphone was saying that " all are ordered to stay in their homes and may only go out for groceries, pharmacy or going to work...Trespassers will be punished with fines and charges" Sounded like a ( bad) horror movie All people when going out must carry along the so-called auto-certificate to be downloaded online and printed... Well just this morning this doc.changed as for wording and since I don't have a printer I need to go out and go to a friend who will print it for me...I could get stopped along the way....You must declare under your responsibility that you are NOT positive to CV and you are not being quarantined...You risk a fine and a a charge in case of false declaration.... Yesterday 5 young folks got admitted in the hospital in my hometown even though the deceased are usually all around 75 - 90 old..... About 150 positive cases so far in my area....

Jim1cor13
I find this interesting...timing and all...October 18, 2019. Read carefully...food for thought. http://www.centerforhealthsecurity.org/event201/ Event 201 The Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security in partnership with the World Economic Forum and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation hosted Event 201, a high-level pandemic exercise on October 18, 2019, in New York, NY. The exercise illustrated areas where public/private partnerships will be necessary during the response to a severe pandemic in order to diminish large-scale economic and societal consequences. Statement about nCoV and our pandemic exercise In recent years, the world has seen a growing number of epidemic events, amounting to approximately 200 events annually. These events are increasing, and they are disruptive to health, economies, and society. Managing these events already strains global capacity, even absent a pandemic threat. Experts agree that it is only a matter of time before one of these epidemics becomes global—a pandemic with potentially catastrophic consequences. A severe pandemic, which becomes “Event 201,” would require reliable cooperation among several industries, national governments, and key international institutions.
