Hello Pitcher...In my hometown and areas around the situation is still (so far) bearable in that it's not too bad yet...But just like the rest of the country everything is closed down ( including bars, restaurants , all shops) except food shops and markets and pharmacies  ( plus gas stations)....All schools ( kindergartens, schools, universities) closed

 

It's somehow surreal....Anyone needs a written justification in order to move from place to place..Not only for leaving the city but even if you walk you can get stopped and give a justification...

 

This applies until April 3...Then we'll see

 

Let's hope these stringent and freedom-limiting  rules will help us get out of the situation as as soon as possible....ICU's in the North of the country are reaching collapse

I don't...I'm just reporting the news about the alleged Chinese accusations....

 

Most likely they're trying to cover themselves about the responsibility of how the whole mess started out

Let's consider though there are different cases....This evening on a news channel I heard the testimonial of a still hospitalized man...He said he's 48, always ate well , always practised various sports, no drugs, no cigarettes, no alcohol and still he got infected  and sent to ICU with a really bad pneumonia...

 

Now he's slowly getting out of it ...But he's been admitted for 20plus days already...He said he was missing his family tremendously ( wife & kids) and started crying....

 

I wish him ( and all) the best

Went to Publix Supermarket in Florida today.

They are out of toilet paper, Lysol Disinfecting Wipes and Lysol Spray.

Also, limiting facial tissues to 2 boxes each.

Here in North Carolina our Governor,  Roy Cooper, announced at around 4:30 this afternoon, ALL North Carolina Schools will be closed for 2 weeks, at least, starting on Monday March 16, 2020.   But for now, the teachers will have to report for work. My husband has a niece who is a high school Math Teacher. I hope she is not exposed. She has 3 little boys. One is in 1st grade, and the twins are only 2 1/2 years old.
