Iranian Oil Minister Begin Zangana affirmed on Sunday that Iran's oil reserves exceed 700 billion barrels, calling on knowledge firms to propose solutions to increase the extraction capacity.
Zangana said in a speech at the Forum of Knowledge and Emerging Companies in Tehran, "In the event that the extraction factor from the oil reserves increases by 1 percent, proceeds will be collected between 350 to 400 billion dollars by calculating 50 dollars per barrel."
