US report: Washington agreed with NATO to permanently keep its forces in Iraq

Information / translation ... The
American Strategic Culture website reported on Monday that it was agreed between the United States and NATO to keep the American forces in Iraq permanently under the exclusive command of NATO and not under the control of the US Central Command in the Middle East.
"The NATO ministers have agreed to increase operations in Iraq where NATO Secretary-General Jens Stolberg has been working on the plan since the fall of 2019, but US President Donald Trump has been pressing the alliance not long before that date ," said the report, translated by "information."
He added that "NATO Secretary-General Jens Stolberg has gone to Jordan to consult King Abdullah, while he met with Brussels Sabri Bakhtaji, the Tunisian foreign minister, because Tunisia represents a major part of Trump's line to use other NATO countries as proxies of the United States to control the Middle East region."
He continued, "Part of Turkey's approval of the American plan on the first of last February is the transfer of al-Qaeda terrorists and part of ISIS to Libya via Tunisia to provide support to US-European and European-backed Fayez al-Sarraj in order to topple the Khalifa Haftar regime."
He continued that "Turkey's interest in Libya is to win the support of Libya to be in a stronger position to win the prize in the emerging competition for oil and gas rights in the regions near the Mediterranean, and its possession by Turkey would amount to an increase in the possibility of Turkey obtaining marine oil."
The report pointed out that "America's interest is to overthrow the Syrian secular government and replace it with a government that is acceptable to the Saud fundamentalist Sunni family in Saudi Arabia, and in order to do that, America will therefore need to keep its forces in Iraq ." Ended /
