Ron, OT question. I was considering moving to Vegas and using it as a jump off point when this hits. It used to be a Red state and I just read that it is now a Blue state were Cali people who moved in now out number the people that were born there. From your view point, is NV turning into a Socialist State?

I was hoping that lessons were learned by how bad Cali has become that they would not vote for the same group that brought down Cali.

From your post I value you input my friend - fire a way.

Hey Chuck thought I'd chime in, since I'm from Cali. Most of the people who are moving to Vegas friggen hate these California politicians. I know I do, they have no idea what a budget is. The only thing that I like here is the weather. You'll be fine. You can drink all night and hookers are legal. Not where liberals will be hanging their hat. Plus its hotter than Hades in the summer and gas is a dollar a gallon cheaper on that side of the border. LOL

The old Harry Reid Political Machine has really turned it into a blue state, but people are starting to wake up to the reality of the negative Democratic influence. I believe this years election will bring some changes. The Christian church influence is significant in Las Vegas, and we have the Mayor's ear; and we work very closely and have favor with Metro Police, the Mayor's administration, and the educational system. The beauty is it is an income tax free state. Car insurance is high, sales tax is 8.25%, but RE taxes are about 1%.  Property values are going up because of the California exodus, but still 20% less than the 2006 high...! My wife doesn't want to move...! I hope this helps...feel free to call me at 702-883-6605 if you want to talk more. Be blessed Chuck.:tiphat:  Ron

...LOL....it's hot for two months, but bearable (dry - low humidity). About 2-3 weeks there is some humidity due to t-storms and monsoon weather from warm moist air coming up from the Sea of Cortez. :salute:
