Iraqis march in 'millions' to call for expulsion of US troops

Iraqis have rallied in Baghdad in massive numbers to call for an end to US military presence in the country following high-profile assassinations and airstrikes targeting anti-terror forces.

You rid us of Sadam and his sons, assisted with crushing Isis and brought democracy to the people of Irag....Now get the the hell out!!! Feeling really unappreciated...

Thanks Rugby....to add to your statement, we also took out Iran's key general, Soleimani, who controlled the Iranian-Iraqi militias who were killing the freedom protesters, and whose main purpose was to intimidate the Iraqi people. He was in Baghdad to continue the terrorizing of the Iraqis, with the ultimate goal of gaining control over the Iraqi Government one way or another - influence, fear and terror. JMHO

Ever notice how the protests in Iraq (in Europe, the US, and everywhere else) always seen well organized, with expensive banners, flags, and the like - I wonder who is really paying for these. The freedom protesters were obvious, but now there is external influencers mingled in with the crowds. There is still way too much Iranian influence in Iran. Sadr made a deal in my opinion.

To make my point...this was part of an article posted by Butifldrm:

The head of the solution party, Jamal Karbouli, said today, Saturday, that the treachery of the parties will be revealed, and will not stop the demonstrations.

Karbouli said in a tweet on his personal page on Twitter, followed by "Al-Akhbariya", that "the demonstrations have achieved their goals by destroying the peaceful demonstrations of the people and burning the tents of the protesters."

He pointed out, "The treachery agreements will never undermine the spirit of freedom that the demonstrators tasted." Noting that "the people who offered hundreds of martyrs and patience under the sun and rain will not be intimidated by the baton of the brute power."

The iraq government must tell all foreign troops and militias to stay on approved

bases. Then the US helicopters and A 10s can clear the open spaces of all militias

not on approved bases. The days of sneak and shoot will soon go away...

Unfortunately, the only approved militias are Sadr's boys, most of the others are Iranian sponsored Iraqis who have leanings towards the Ayatollah Ali Khamenei (they may also have Iranians in their mix). They will just remove their masks and blend in with the populace. Your plan sounds good, but it won't work in reality. JMHO..!
