Sardines movement

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sardines_movement

They helped a great deal in stopping Lucia Borgonzoni ( of far right party "League") from becoming the Emilia-Romagna Region Governor ( they rule practically all northern regions so far  including mine...) no matter how hard League leader Matteo Salvini toured the area for almost 3 months holding speeches as if there was no tomorrow...But since ER is a well-governed Region Salvini's effort showed being to no avail ( praise the Lord)....

I heard they ( sardines) might become a political party...We'll see

I too buy bottled water in supermarkets as my city's water, while good in taste, contains limestone which after years and years could contribute to forming kidney stones which I'd rather avoid since I've been told they cause the worst ever pains

Italian Wine Escapes US Tariff Hike

The latest move in the global trade war has taken aim at some pretty random targets

By W. Blake Gray | Posted Friday, 04-Oct-2019

Much of this tariff stuff had started as a retaliation by the US Administration towards countries involved in the making of the Airbus aircraft....It's being made and assembled in Germany and France...Italy had never anything to do with it....So it was hard to grasp the reason behind the punishing  tariffs on Italian products.....

I understand that also other goods are getting exempted besides wine....Cheeses, olive oil etc...All products of excellence
