Trump’s Biggest Fox News Boosters Suddenly Stop Railing Against ‘Deep State’ Intelligence

nstoolman,  I'm not telling you anything of the sort.  I said it was demeaning when one uses these emojis without explanation and too cowardly to face the poster.  More likely they are used because of dislike of the poster than the post

Without explaination how can anyone gain from a cross eyed emoji.  I never once tried to tell you or anyone else not to use emojis but it was cowardly to use and not face the poster with some kind of responsibility of why

I suppose like everyone else here I should be able to give my opinion.  Thanks for letting me know you didn't like it and you disagree.  My explanation here was my opinion, you certainly don t have to agree but at least don't say what I said was something that it was not.

Out of curiosity, who do you want in the WH?

Somebody "presidential" who understands the great responsibility that comes with the office, who understands he/she works for us and not for their own self-serving benefit.  Someone not afraid to put party aside and move the country forward.....basically any grownup who understands what it means to be an adult, in words and deeds.....preferably someone with military service, thick skinned, with an innate ability to speak full sentences with class on the world stage....a true representative of how we, as Americans, were raised to show respect.  Someone we can present to our children as the benchmark of how to act and solve problems democratically......Basically everything Trump is not.

Wow, who is in the running with all of that?

no, I mean having to be politically correct and do believe all of Washingtons thoughts and beliefs are the only way for as to think and live

Take Merry Chrisymas as an example.  Now if anything ever deserved a squirrely face, this would be among the top.  Just so your party says it's so doesn't make it fact.  When did we as men and wo.en with a half a brain become so dedicated to a political party that we no long use any of our own brain power and decency.  Just my way of thinking that perhaps it's time for us to look at ourselves instead of letting government dictate what we say, do and believe

Well a Trump rally is a perfect example of how common courtesy and bad behavior have festered with the eradication of P.C.  So you are correct in if we as men and women would simply use our brains and recall how most of us were raised, we would call out bad behavior, party be damned.  My statement is a blanket statement that also includes the atrocious behavior that comes from idiots on the Left as well.

I don't quite get your Merry Christmas example as you didn't expound, though I conclude you're referencing the term of "Merry Christmas" as opposed to simply covering two holidays a week apart with "Happy Holidays".  I for one have no problem with the confused emoji as it shows the person who gave it has a comprehension problem and is simply too lazy or afraid to ask for clarification.

Oh a socialist - I see.

For some reason the "Deep State" does not like her. I wonder why?

She's not even close to being a socialist.....a moderate Democrat at best.  And please remember, social security and farmer bailouts are both social programs.  People throw around that "socialist" moniker so easily and seem to have no idea what it really means in post WWII America.  As always, just my opinion.

Social security is not an entitlement. You pay in to it and then draw it out.

If you're lucky.  Yet people with just enough qualifying quarters receive benefits....and people who have other means of retirement, such as public employees receive less of the social security they paid in before they went to work as a public employee, therefore their money is being spent on somebody else, hence socialism.

No,  that is called theft.  I get a public employee pension and SS.  I put in the required qualifying years so I don't get penalized.

Then it must vary from state to state.

No,  it is a cost of living raise.

And any raise to social security is being paid by someone else, cost of living or otherwise, somebody else is flipping the bill.  An elderly person who worked their entire life and made a high of 8 bucks an hour at retirement and then receives social security benefits far above that amount that is being paid by the next generation infusing the system with larger wages is most definitely socialism.

I respect your opinion nstoolman, but certainly on this issue we must agree to disagree.

No hope of changing minds here.....but I'll add a few thoughts for consideration.

When I was a kid I would fish with an old guy....he was just retired and SS was brand new....he used to go on about the money he was getting....that he had paid nothing for.....and in essence I would be working my life time to pay him and others....

As to Congresswoman Gabbard......she is a Democrat wIth a voting record similar to Pelosi......what makes her different is she seems to be the only one running that wants to re-unite the Country.....breaking up the partisan BS...... Major Gabbard is the anti-establishment candidate on the left....she is for term limits, campaign reform......taking a wrecking ball to the DNC......and much more.......with the DNC and MSM totally opposed to her.....she hasn't gotten a great deal of traction.......but there is an end game......you will see that play out.......I disagree on the socialist label.....in my book she is a Patriot.

Political correctness is foolishness in my world...we shouldn't get sucked into it....

I make $1230 on my SS. That figures in at $7.00 hour. I made a lot more than that when I was paying in for those 39 years of contribution.

I also have a Public Employee Pension.

Except for the people who fraudulently claim it or fake injuries for it most people make way less than what they put in.

The penalty you mentioned earlier is call W.E.P. Windfall Elimination Provision. It is a way for the government to penalize your SS earnings.

If you work 30 + qualifying years in SS system you don't get the penalty. It is the same nationwide I believe.

Yeah, the Goberment has been taking my money for many years and I might not see a dime of it because of "mismanagement".

All these Goberment people went Yale and Harvard and such (except Mr Trump) and they can't even balance a check book.

They all should have gone to Sonoma State....

They know exactly how to balance a budget.....first step:  show lobbyists the door.....second step:  term limits

I agree there - but term limits have to be legislated in -Is that right?

I generally am very positive so to stay that way, I am positive they will not vote on term limits.

The confused face and smiley face is used to to try to make one feel stupid or ignorant...like you I find it insulting especially with the quality  and intelligence that many post.  Most post are designed to insult but now a confused or laughing face does the job for them without any input....only arrogance

A confused face ( which translates into zero change of one's points...it's neutral) usually shows some genuine ( or not) incapability of comprehending even ( at times) obvious and crystal-clear stuff...Either that or  someone trying to tell you that what you posted is absurd, unbelievable, out of this world....  Even if it isn't...Again 9 times out of 10 political divide is the key

While with laughing face ...I usually give it when I deem someone's post funny ( on purpose)...A laughing face increases one's points just like any other plus...So it's a plus
