Prayer thread for our troops, family, friends

Gracious God, We come before You today in thankfulness, knowing that Your Mighty Word declares that You hear the prayers of Your children.

We thank You for a hedge of protection around every one of our services members, contractors, those that work in our Embassies. We also lift the hearts and minds of every family member and friend, associate, etc. of those involved.

Thank You for everyone being alert and watchful. Thank You for those that oversee our people, work within each of them to make the right decisions . Give them wisdom, knowledge and understanding.

Hold them under the mighty shadow of your wing!

Pour Your PEACE over them.

May we each remember them continually throughout the day today as well as in the days to come.

May Your be GLORIFIED!

Almighty God, please protect each man and woman in our military that they will return home to their loved one’s and protect the innocent lives who are in the midst of the upheaval. And Lord, please guide the leaders who have to make so many hard decisions that they act according to thy Will. We pray for each family who have loved ones in danger all over this world that you will give them comfort when they are so worried.

All in Jesus’s name we pray.

My own little prayer every night has changed little in over 40 years starting with Viet Nam. 

 

My God Bless our brave men and women in the military at home and abroad keep them safe and protected from any 

and all harm that may come to them mentally or physically. Thank you heavenly father a grateful  daughter,

sister and now mother.  Amen
