The eulogist at the funeral procession of prominent Iranian military commander Qassem Soleimani in Iran put an 80-million-dollar prize on US President Donald Trump’s head on live state TV.

“We are 80 million Iranians, if each one of us puts aside one American dollar, we will have 80 million American dollars, and we will reward anyone who brings us [Trump]’s head with that amount,” he said, addressing a large crowd in Iran’s north-eastern city of Mashhad.

The funeral procession was being broadcast live on Iran’s Channel One as the eulogist made his proposal.

Soleimani, who headed Iran’s elite Quds Force - the overseas arm of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) - was killed in a US airstrike in Baghdad on Friday.

The deputy commander of Iran-backed militias known as the Popular Mobilization Forces Abu Mahdi al-Mohandes was also killed in the attack.

Iranian officials, including Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and President Hassan Rouhani, as well as several senior IRGC commanders, have vowed revenge against the US.

Subversives, treasonous, yep that is who they are for sure.

I’m at my desk working, trying to figure out how to protect my investments in several of my Long positions in the stock market.  Not sure if I want to hedge by buying some puts or sell or hold on.  I know one thing, the market was at all time highs and if this Iran thing gets out of control you will see a stock market pull back/sell off similar to after 911.  Gold, silver, oil, and shorting are some things I’m looking at.

I hear you Chuck. I have both locked away as well.  I’ve been telling my kids to buy as well.

The Stock Market was in a bull run up until Friday.  I’m not seeing any Chart breakdowns yet so I will wait and see what happens. I’m a trend trader and the trend has not been broken yet.  On Friday I saw some defense companies like Rtn, Lhx, Gd, Lmt, Noc and Avav have breakout moves.  Oil has been in a nice uptrend since early Dec.  Some of my favorite Permian Basin oil companies have had good runs and probably had some profit takers on Friday.  I do not expect oil to go down with ME tensions as high as they are now.  Keep an eye on Cxo, Pxd, Fang, XEC, Oxy,

Elizabeth Warren has accused President Donald Trump of ordering strikes on Iran and taking the country to the edge of war to distract from his impeachment trial, as Democrats slam the president as a 'monster' for threatening to commit potential war crimes against the Middle Eastern country.

Speaking on Meet the Press Sunday morning, Warren alluded that Trump may be charging the US into a war in a rage over his impending impeachment trial.

'We know Donald Trump is very upset about this upcoming impeachment trial. But look at what he's doing now. He is taking us to the edge of war,' the Democratic hopeful said.

'We've been at year for 20 years in the Middle East and now he's talking about expanding that war. This has been something that has cost thousands of American lives...The job of the president is to keep us safer. The job of the president is not to move us to the edge of war,' she added.

On Saturday Warren, along with Democrat figures like Joe Biden and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, decried the president for his Saturday tweet threatening to commit potential war crimes by targeting 52 Iranian sites, many of them culturally important, in response to potential retaliation over the U.S. killing of Iranian General Qassem Soleimani.

Warren condemned the president's threat amid escalating tensions with Tehran, saying 'You are threatening to commit war crimes. We are not at war with Iran. The American people do not want a war with Iran,' she said.

'Your threats put our troops and diplomats at greater risk. Stop,' Warren ordered.

Meanwhile Biden shared Trump's tweet and slammed him as 'irrational'.

Rep. Ilhan Omar tweeted: 'The President of the United States is threatening to commit war crimes on Twitter. God help us all!'

Saturday evening the President caused an uproar when he tweeted a stern warning to Iran that would violate The Geneva Convention Protocol 1.

'Let this serve as a WARNING that if Iran strikes any Americans, or American assets, we have targeted 52 Iranian sites (representing the 52 American hostages taken by Iran many years ago), some at a very high level & important to Iran & the Iranian culture, and those targets, and Iran itself, WILL BE HIT VERY FAST AND VERY HARD,' Trump tweeted.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar Accuse President Trump Of Plotting ‘War Crimes’ Over List Of Iranian Targets

Two members of the progressive “squad,” Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), were quick to condemn President Donald Trump for potential “war crimes” Saturday night after the president threatened 52 possible targets in and around Iran, including what he called “cultural sites.”

The pair, of course, were not so quick to condemn Iran or slain Iranian General Qasem Soleimani, the architect of hundreds of deaths and maimings across the Middle East.

On Saturday, President Donald Trump addressed a response to Iranian threats against American military sites abroad, warning that the U.S. government had compiled a list of approximately 52 potential targets for a response attack — a callback to the 52 American hostages taken by Iran back in the late 1970s.

“Let this serve as a WARNING that if Iran strikes any Americans, or American assets, we have targeted 52 Iranian site (representing the 52 American hostages taken by Iran many years ago),” President Trump tweeted. “Some at a very high level & important to Iran & the Iranian culture, and those targets. and Iran itself, WILL BE HIT VERY FAST AND VERY HARD. The USA wants no more threats!”

Trump did not list specific targets, so it is not clear what he means by “important to Iran and Iranian culture.” That didn’t stop Ocasio-Cortez, of course, from immediately accusing the president of plotting “war crimes.”

“This is a war crime,” Ocasio-Cortez tweeted. “Threatening to target and kill innocent families, women and children — which is what you’re doing by targeting cultural sites — does not make you a ‘tough guy.’ It does not make you ‘strategic.’ It makes you a monster.”

Omar was not far behind, also accusing Trump of “war crimes.”

“The President of the United States is threatening to commit war crimes on Twitter,” Omar tweeted. “God help us all!”

Neither followed up with any definition of a “war crime,” so its not clear to what, in fact, either is referring. The United Nations does condemn attacks on cultural sites, particularly those protected by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), but Ocasio-Cortez seemed to be prematurely condemning Trump for targeting “women and children,” something the president has not done and likely would not do.

One commentator even pointed out that Ocasio-Cortez seemed to be pulling her definition of “war crimes” from thin air: “This is a language crime. Making up your own standards for already existing concepts and claiming people violated them — and then not even meeting your own made-up standards — does not make you a ‘smart person.’ It does not make you ‘brave.’ It makes you a dork.”

Omar followed up by demanding that Congress be given control over further operations.

“This is a major test for our country,” she tweeted. “Will we allow decades of executive overreach and militarism to continue? Or will Congress step in and perform our Constitutional role to stop a war? The world is watching.”

The president does have the authority to launch a strategic military strike to prevent or contain an imminent threat, and the White House has repeatedly argued, since Friday, that Soleimani was plotting savage attacks across the Middle East and, particularly, in Iraq. To perhaps no one’s surprise, both Ocasio-Cortez and Omar opposed Friday’s strike. Omar called the incident an “assassination.”

Ted Cruz Dares Democrats, Offers Senate Resolution Praising Soleimani Mission

Senator Ted Cruz wants Democrats to publicly declare their feelings on the Trump Administration’s mission to kill Iranian Gen. Qasem Soleimani, and his office reports that they have constructed and are circulating a Senate resolution praising the attack.

According to Fox News, Cruz wants Senate Democrats — including a handful of contenders for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination — to go on the record on where they stand regarding Soleimani, particularly given that many have expressed concerns and reservations in the wake of the drone strike that left Solemani and a handful of Iranian and Iraqi military officials dead.

Per the senator’s aides who spoke to Fox News on Friday, Cruz’s resolution is “structured and worded the same way as a 2011 resolution commending the Obama Administration” for locating and eliminating terror mastermind and Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden.

The resolution, the outlet says, praises “the members of the military and intelligence community who carried out the mission that killed Qasem Soleimani.”

Cruz has been a staunch defender of the Administration’s decision to target Soleimani — a decision that President Donald Trump said came about because the intelligence community reported that Soleimani, responsible for the deaths of hundreds of members of the United States military in several Middle East conflicts, was planning “imminent and sinister attacks” against American interests inside Iraq. The head of Iran’s Qud’s Force, the president added, was looking to destabilize Iraq.

“Soleimani made the death of innocent people his sick passion,” Trump said Friday. “[W]hat the U.S. did yesterday should have been done long ago.”

Democrats have, to no one’s surprise, been critical of Trump’s decision, sounding the alarm of “World War III” and accusing the Administration of failing to have a long-term plan following the strike or considering the consequences of eliminating a major player in Middle East conflict.

Several Democrats, including Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), have accused Trump of “assassinating” a “government official” in violation of international conventions and have vowed to exercise control over Trump’s mission and any further military actions. Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), a contender for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination, has pledged to introduce a Senate resolution of his own, cutting the Trump Administration off from pursuing any further action against Iran until a new “use of force” authorization can be drafted and approved by Congress (something rather unlikely given the partisanship in Congress and particularly in the Democrat-controlled House).

Sens. **** Durbin (D-IL) and Tim Kaine (D-VA) are reportedly drafting their own competing resolution to Cruz’s, also condemning the Trump Administration’s decision to engage in a “war” with Iran.

“The Senate must not let this President march into another war in the Middle East without debate and authorization from Congress,” Durbin tweeted on Saturday. “Yesterday I joined @timkaine to introduce a resolution preventing Pres. Trump from starting a war with Iran all on his own.”

Kaine added that Congress should “stop President Trump from entangling America in yet another unnecessary war in the Middle East.”

So far, a more intense conflict has not materialized, and experts are quick to point out that there is much room between a few strategic attacks and an all-out global war, headlined by a conflict between the United States and Iran. Iran has, reportedly, continued a string of air attacks on U.S. military bases in Iraq — missile strikes have been ongoing in that region for some months.

That and Stop the Auctions ...What are the chances that those in control are waiting for a point of no return for Iran's current monetary reserve status downfall . With a stoppage of the auction as part of Iran's final demise ??? Trump has just denied Iran the opportunity to select and seat another Iran backed Prime Minister . Which is Great ! That cycle has now been broken ! It points to a new beginning for Iraq now ... And an ending of Iran's way controlling the other countries

Looks like the Iranian regime is on the same side as Nancy Pelosi and the rest of the Democrats.

President Trump didn’ have any regrets and double down the previous statements.

Trump tweeted the targets “WILL BE HIT VERY FAST AND VERY HARD” if Iran retaliates for the killing of Qassem Soleimani.

The president tweeted that the number of targets matched the number of hostages held by Iran in 1979, when 52 American diplomats and citizens were held for 444 days.

“Let this serve as a WARNING that if Iran strikes any Americans, or American assets, we have………targeted 52 Iranian sites (representing the 52 American hostages taken by Iran many years ago), some at a very high level & important to Iran & the Iranian culture, and those targets, and Iran itself, WILL BE HIT VERY FAST AND VERY HARD,” he said. “The USA wants no more threats!”
